Good Morning Fitness Fanatics.......... Looks like an iffy day is in front of us.  Nice temps, butyou will have to dodge some rain showers.  Not too shabby..... So, what are YOU doing to move today? Me?  well...not much.  Today is a rest day, but I will probably take a walk.  Don't want to do too much with the run on Saturday (even though it is equal to my long run). Enjoy your day!

Depends on the weather here too.  Want to jog some but a visit to the weight room may have to suffice. Nothing serious after tommorrow. Mainly concerned about keeping my VO2/breathing control at max.  Still not were I wanted to be for Saturdays run but just don't want to over prepare at this point.  I am what I am at this point for Saturday, then I start my push to increase weekly distance and stamina in my quest for my next goal of a half-marathon in November. Fitness Fanatic,....you may be on to something.  I just realized I am scaring myself setting goal to go farther rather than why am I doing this???   I am also just am a bit frustrated why my weight isn't dropping with my more rigorist and smarter diet.  Maybe it takes longer and maybe I need to back away from the protein bars and lean more on the protein powders.  Peanut gallery comments are welcome.

HA!  I hear ya ont he scarring myself.  I am amazed EVERY day that I want to go and do these things.  I'm looking at adding spinning classes to my laundry list of things to do -like I don't have enough.

But...as you know...cross training keeps you injury free (or...at least that's what they say - haha)...

As for your diet...I'll PM you with what I know.... See ya Friday!

Hey Sweetie!! Long time.  you have been so busy.   Not doing much today,  working.  I have been ill with that nasty stomach bug going around.  Just wanted to thank you.  I have been away from the gym for a while, lost some motivation along the way.  But,  thanks to your wonderful "Move Today" posts, I am on my way back to the gym.  I guess though I have been lucky,  no weight gain or anything.  but,  i want to get my excercise back on track. Thanks and love, Kelli

I meet with my personal trainer, Sgt. Brian, today. (Ok, he's not really a seargent.  And he's perfectly nice.  But as much pain as I was in after the last time I went to see him....plus, thinking of him as strict helps keep me going)  I've just started with my heart rate monitor/tattletale watch so I'll see what he thinks of how I've done.  I've done everything I was supposed to...but it didn't work in the pool, so that was a real bummer.  Mostly we do strength training (I can get some cardio in if I get there early - I'm aiming for that but we'll see how the afternoon at school goes), so I expect to be sore tomorrow!

Well I got on the treadmill for 27 mintues and did .71 miles and burned about 112 calories not as much as usual but I got tired real quick and felt it best to do a little rather than nothing.
