HAPPY 1/2 DAY YA'LL & "Tough Days" Thought of the day...

Good am, How are ya'll doing? Hope everyone is GREAT! What a GORGEOUS day Tuesday was! Lots of sunshine, near/at 75 degrees and lots of nature time. Got a lot accomplished yesterday and really enjoyed the evening with freedom and ease last pm. Had some wonderful conversations with a few folks I'd been missing.  On the books for today is working on the To Do List, chores, walking, enjoying more sunshine and warm temps and focusing on another great day. I'm battling the Allergy Fairy along with my buggas and many, many others so we're on meds to alleviate that. Got the windows open, candles/tart burners going and looking forward to this day!!!! Enjoy! "Tough Days" Ever "wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" We all have or at least feel like that. You wake up tired and grumpy and everything is going wrong right from the moment your senses become aware. You let the dog out but he doesn't want to come back in. You make breakfast while getting dressed and burn it not having time to make more. You're running late and just as you make the stop sign at the corner to hit the main road you realize you've forgotten your coffee and important documents. You have to turn around and go back and get them. Traffic is horrible and your late to work. You get into work and boot up your computer and walk away to gather yourself freshing your cuppa and you come back to one of those lovely messages that is annoying written (you cannot understand) but what you do know is that you cannot get your work done until its fixed. All the above can be translated into our WLS journeys. You wake up and nothing is going right. Eating becomes a challenge and because you burnt breakfast you also didn't take anything with you to plan ahead. Your coffee is cold by the time you get to work and you haven't gotten in any great fluids. Because of your mood your exercising suffers because you are focused on how bad the day is going instead of calming yourself and getting back on track. You forgot in your rushing to take your vitamins all while they are sitting on the counter at home. Because you are still rushing through your day you decide to "eat and work" (another no-no) which leads to eating fast, more than you should and not the best ways because you forgot your lunch so you had to choose from the cafeteria/fast food. By the end of your day not only are you probably fuming at this point but your tired, you body is out of whack.  We all have days that are not the best and feels like the worst. We'd love nothing more than to go back to bed, pull the covers up over ourselves and sleep/avoid the day. Oh if ONLY we didn't have to face reality and start fresh LATER! Sorry no dice! Its hard when you're starting out the gates with a less than great outlook, attitude and day so unless its completely unchangable then stop yourself, calm down and focus. Make choices to turn negativity into positives and remember that not everyday can be a bad day and grinning and bearing and CHOOSING to move ahead in positive ways can help you tremendously. So, ideas to help (in my opinion):  Call a close/trusted friend and ask to talk/take your mind off things Journal when you have some "me" time to "vent" Pray and ask for guidance and clarity and positive energy Talk a walk in the sunshine/fresh air to clear your mind Try to make the best choices you can even in limited/frustrating times Remember that everyone has a bad day now & then but it CAN be turned around All best!!!

Morning!!!  Still feeling iggy, need some rest.  I am at work at the moment, considering finishing up a few things & heading for home & some quality time with a book & my bed.  We shall see how it unfolds.  Enjoyed the girlies & hubby last night.  Had a great dinner, spent some time hanging together.  Not much on the books for tonight, more than likely just some rest.  Have a great one!!!!  Love you lots!!!!
