Pre-op diet
I was so happy because I did not think I had to do a 5 day liquid diet...until yesterday. I received a letter in the mail that says your surgeon recommends that starting 2 weeks before surgery to have a high protein, low sugar drink in place of breakfast AND lunch and eat a Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice or Weigh****chers type meal for dinner. FOR 2 WEEKS? Wow, I don't know which is worse. It does not mention snacks, so I might call them because I'm going to be starving on 1 (semi)meal a day. But I can do whatever it takes. Just thought I would post it in case others are interested.
Thanks, Penny
