HELP?? Avatar question??

Lauren took a pic of Cameron & I yesterday and it is so cute that I want to use it as my avatar.  When I try to load it, it says I have to resize it to 20kb or smaller.  I don't remember how to do this.  Could anyone remind me? Thanks, Theresa

Depends on your what photo editor you have on your computer.  Most will let you crop the photo (try and keep it square), and then pick the number of pixel size.  Occasionally when I size a picture down it still won't be under the max size.  that stinks.  Also you can use www.shrinkpictures.com.  Check your inbox - see if I was able to get it small enough to load?

I uploaded here and it didn't tell me that it was too big but it isn't showing up, as of yet.  I hope it works because my head hurts too much to think.  Thanks for your help hun! Theresa

I can see it Theresa -- adorable picture.  If you can't see it -- just clear your cookies and then go back to the page and it should show up!  :)

Ugh!!!!  just my luck.  I tried what you suggested and it didn't work.  I'm hoping it will just appear.  Thanks for the suggestions though. Theresa

ok, this is weird b/c I can't see it either....I still see the black box with the words in it! But when I go in through Safari and not Firefox, I CAN see the picture....how weird is that?!?! (and I cleared out my cookies in Firefox as Cindy suggested)

OK.. how weird.  Because if I log in using the Internet Explorer, I can see it.  Maybe AOL doesn't like me today.  Pfftttttt.  Go figure.

Try to use ctrl f5 and see if that works.
