First off, a big thank you to Courtney for being my angel & letting you all know I'm ok.  C, I think it helped Matt a lot to be able to call you with such good news.  He opted to stay home & take care of our pets instead of staying at the hospital with Mike, so making the calls made him feel useful. As for the rest of you...I read all your well-wishes & thank you so much.  I love you all!!! I have learned that this new device is very different from the ones I've had in the past.  I've also learned that even though my heart function is only at 20%, I'm very high functioning.  I asked when  we need to start making plans for a transplant & he said that we don't worry about that until my EF is in the teens or I develop congestive heart failure.  Sooooo, in a few weeks I'll be able to resume my life normally, to include driving again & even riding my horse (you KNOW that was my first question...when can I ride? LOL)  So all my angst was for not. Oh my goodness, I am soooooo sore.  Very little use of my left arm for a couple of weeks, but I can live with that minor inconveniece.  Besides, I have good drugs...lol...so I'll be in lala land for a few days. Anyway, I just wanted to pop in & thank you all for your good wishes & prayers.  You all really helped me get through this tough time.

Hugs!
Ann

It was my pleasure to be your angel and it is always a pleasure to speak with your Matt.  So glad that you are home & doing well.  And such great news about your functioning, etc.  I like Kat, was thinking I would give you a day or two to rest before I bugged ya.  Love you!!!

I love you!  I love you!!  I LOVE YOU ALL!!!  While I keep fading off into sleepy town every 5 minutes, I'm still so happy when I wake up & discover I'm still breathing.  And you all have been the best.  I feel very blessed to have such wonderful friends in my life.

Hugs!
