What Are YOU Doing To Move Today???
Hi Folks.....
Sorry I'm late. I has been a heck of a day! I got into work and had the blue screen of death on my computer...then I had some General demading that I write a modifiication to a contract (can't...no computer), then I get someone elses's computer, write the mod...THREE times (UGH!), can't generate t in the system, have to do a manual one which is HORRIBLE!!!
I finally got it finished at 330, and said...I'M DONE! Told them that after what I've been through in the past month, they owed me 1 hour of admin leave and i left - haha.
So...it's a BEAUTIFUL day!!!! Need to get out there and enjoy it! Get your rear in gear!!! So...what are YOU doing to move today???
Me? I came home and ran out my stress....4 miles of interval running (fast and slow and some walking)...then I came in and did 20 minutes of lower body work....lunges, squats, calf raises, all with 8 pound weights, leg lifts, rear kicks...etc. PLUS....10 minutes of ab work and then stretching.....
I'm done for the night........

Sorry your work day was awful. I understand...they pushed MS Office 2007 this week and I feel like I'm all stumble-thumbs -- can't figure out where any of the commands are and keep forgetting to save documents as Office 2003 so others can use them! On the bright side, I was part of a small group who were treated to a closeup demonstration of the F-22 - emphasis on closeup, on the airfield, at the plane (after landing) -- performing the air show maneuvers plus some. Cool cool cool! As soon as my pic with the pilot is sent to me it will be on my profile for sure!
Anyway, that got my heart rate up to cardio level, so I didn't have to get on the bike or treadmill, just my weight training today. Upped all my weights this week so muscles were tight!
Now my home chores start...ugh!
Im stretching..... and resting and doing laundry and preparing things for tomorrows gym-tastic session
I ran on Tuesday and did 30 min on the elliptical yesterday (the aerobic setting) and the machine had arms that moved too so the program tells you to use your upper body and focus on pushing, pulling, then go fast at 6.0 then slow at 3.0 then my speed then backwards... and I was doing ok.. but backwards... killed my calves....
It feels good to be working out more ... and the weight is coming off a little faster too!!!
Im on my way to a 5K in June and 1/2 Marathon in November.... WOO HOO
running tomorrow and Im signing off to go pack the gym bag..

RIGHT ON!!! That's GREAT! Ya...I hate the backwards thing too, but it's great for the legs, that's for sure!
