Good Morning, Fitness Fanatics...... WOW!  Today is going to be BEAUTIFUL!  Low 80's!!!!!!  Perfect for getting out and taking a nice walk...even if it is only up the street.  So, make it a point to get out....... What am I doing today?  Well....I plan to do 30 minutes on the ellipticle, and then I have a toning and a poles class this morning.  Tonight I'll do some stretching to keep the muscles limber. What about YOU....what are YOU doing to move today???

My to do list includes:  hitting a bucket of golf balls (takes about 1 hr and I am prepping for my first tournament where I am a player rather than a volunteer staff is April 24), going for a run,  and cutting my grass/weeds (probably warmup for my run). Yesterday I got two buckets of balls at the driving range and a 6 mile run in 1:04. Hope your Friday is better than your Thursday!  Have a good weekend!!! Seen your 10K pics at www.brightroom.com??  You got a bunch! Others can see to, by bib number;  Mine are Bib Number: 16192; Wilford Green. I'm not spending $51 for 6 pics but they are fun to look at.   Jill's bib,....er,...ummm, I'll let you post that if you decide too...... We did cross at the same time according to the pictures.  I was shocked!!

Well, the last two days I haven't even gotten home until after dark (8:30 Wed., 9:30 Thur.) so I haven't gotten any exercise in - AND I ate horribly. (I'm writing down everything I eat this week for my first nut visit on Monday - I was honest, but it was hard) I'm driving to SC this weekend so I figured Fri. and Sun. were out for exercise since I'll be driving all day (leaving straight from school today) and I was major depressed. I go back to the trainer on Tue. and I'm supposed to have FOUR sessions done by then. I was feeling like a total failure and ready to give up the whole thing. (I vaguely remember writing about my day on my blog last night - I'm sure it was the most depressing thing ever)

But today I rallied. My kids only had a 1/2 day, which meant that I got a whole hour for lunch. (This is a MAJORLY exciting event in the life of a teacher) So I brought my tennis shoes to school and just spent my lunch hour walking the track. So I got some exercise in today, and am feeling prouder of myself than is justified. There was actually a kid I didn't know walking the track as well, and his mom ended up getting up and walking with me, which was fun and really helped the time pass.

Well, now it's back into the work clothes and working on report cards...how exciting can life get?
