I just want to start off by saying I am not trying to advertise, I really just want to get a feel to see if this is something prospective clients would be interested in or not.
I just did a photoshoot with my best friend who had her surgery a year and a half ago. She was so confident and the shoot was soooo fun! I was thinking of starting a whole wls photo project and do some glamour shot type photo shoots for some fun after surgery or progress shots. Is this something you think people would be interested in?
Jackie just did one at her house for your support group, and it was SO much fun. And from the response here from others, I think that you might get a good turn out.

I am not certain that I would do portrait parties, but more on an individual basis. Of Course I would love to do them as well, but know that some might be more comfortable one on one. Thanks for answering though! I loved seeing her self confidence come flying out! She's done so great and I was glad to give her images that could let her see it in black and white, just how far she has come.
Hi there!
PM me what you would charge. My family's been griping at me that I've not sent them pictures of myself since I've lost the majority of my weight...I was thinking of going to do a photo shoot somewhere....and not necessarily the glamour shots, but of what I normally look like (well, a little dolled up).

I know in the several years that I have been a member on the board different people have had group parties & they were said to be a blast. I had wanted to do mine for my one year surgiversary but was not able to swing it at that time, my darling hubby proceeded to get me a gift certificate for glamor shots, and to my nail salon for Christmas that year so I could get them done. It was an amazing experience and one I thoroughly enjoyed doing. Basically for most I think it would boil down to price & timing.
Good am,
I'm sending you a private message as well but wanted to reply that I think this is a great idea. Te Glamour Shots we've done recently were VERY inspiring and encouraging. Real spirit lifters! I can say I'm working diligently on a few things behind the scenes and hopefully we can pull things together in the next few months or so. There is interest!

I'm interested, although the cost would play into my final decision. :) I'm only starting my WLS journey, but have always wanted to do a glamour shots photo shoot. It's something I'm definately going to do when I reach goal. :)

I think there is a lot of interest for that but timing and pricing is everything. I use a professional photographer that did mine previously and he also brought a make up artist and an amazing hairdresser with him. And the cost was really reasonable. But I aso used it as a hang out session for us too so we spent most of the day together. We did laugh and have a lot of fun that day too..... but he could only do so many in a day so we had to limit it to a couple of support groups.
I plan to do one later in the year again if there is enough interest.
