The Ulcers are back....and I am starting to lose it

Well, I started having severe pain yesterday and it continued into today...so, on the phone I got with the GI.  They did an emergent scope today and the ulcers are back...there are two and this time they are bleeding.  I am losing my confidence and resolve...and my good spirit. I am upping meds once again...as well as trying a newer treatment.  I am exhausted and frustrated and in need of prayer all over the place.  If you have a church and the church has a prayer list...please add me to it.  I just really need prayer for healing and for the healing to STAY! Thanks all...

Oh Lisa this is such upsetting news. I am so sorry. I called a friend of mine and added you to his prayer chain as well as mine. I hope you continue to find strength in your beliefs. Let us know if there is anything else we can do. big hugs,

Lisa....please dont get down.  I had my RNY after you and have had to deal with the same sort of thing.  Those darn ulcers were so hard to heal!  I had RNY on 10-31-2007 then  a revision and vagotomy on 2-2-2008.  This finally fixed me with of course mega doses of tummy meds.  Please dont give up.  It does get better.  I will lift you up in prayer, that is what helped me heal.  Lean on your friends on the board here. Good am Lisa, (((PRAYERS/HUGS))) I know this has been an uphill battle for you. Know that you are not alone. I've dealt with bleeding ulcers since just over 1 year post-op and they have improved greatly. I most recently had a flare up which has since subsided with Protonix which works great for me. I know your frustrated and tired and you WILL get through this. Take each day and find the positives. I know even that isn't easy when you're suffering. Keep us posted.
