Fredericksburg/Stafford Gastric Bypass Group Support Meeting

Fredericksburg/Stafford Gastric bypass Group Support Meeting will be held on April 16th  (Wednesday, 4/16/08)at  7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m at:

 Fredericksburg-Stafford Activity Ctr,   60 Butler Rd,   Rm 3 or 4,   Stafford / Fredericksburg,  VA 22405

This meeting is open to anyone who wants to know more about gastric bypass or considering the surgery and want to talk to people who have had it, to people who are scheduled for gastric bypass surgery and to people who have had the surgery. If you had the surgery some time ago and want to get back on track with encouragement – then this meeting is for you! No cost, no negativity – no weighing - only positive encouragement!

 Come join us Wednesday 16^th  to discuss our main topic of  The ABC’s of  Blood Work!  Did you ever wonder why we have to have the tests we do? Did you ever wonder why it is so important to have your blood tested?  Do you know the consequences of low results? How can you track and keep track of your results? What are some of the danger signs you need to be looking out for? All will be revealed on the 16^th so come and join us!

 After we discuss this subject, feel free to bring up any topic of Weight Loss that is concerning you or that you are curious about. If we don’t know the answer we will get it for you!  . Please feel free to bring a friend - everyone welcome!!

I am so mad at myself.  I have been waiting for a month for this day to come.  And guess what!!!  I scheduled my sleep study for the same day!  UGH!!! 

Oh I am sorry - the meeting is over by around 8.30  or so.  I do not know what time you have to be there for your sleep study.... :-( Jackie

Hello Jackie Not sure if we can make it this time, we are in bed by 8 pm, bc of work the next day and up at 2am. I was wondering if there is more tickets for the May 3rd event? If so, how much? Thanks

Hi Stephanie - the event is sold out. They are looking to see if they can do anything but right now they only have lunch etc for 200....you have a couple of choices - you can turn up on the day and see if they can let you in or you can come after lunchtime in which case they will let you in without any problems... They are talking to the hotel but they do not know if they can get anything changed.... there will be another event in DC in October I believe... Jackie
