prednisone!!!
Hi cath,
I was on a very high dose of steroids 40mg a day (prednisone) from May of 2007 - Dec 2007 I gained 75 lbs and I did everything in my power to not gain. I don't even want to talk about the mood swings.
My husband called it Roid Range.
I am so sorry you have to deal with this Thank God it is only 2 weeks.
I wish you all the strength to get thru this.

I had sudden hearing loss and was put on Prednisone for almost 7/8 weeks and I not only had lovely mood swings but I gained 26/27 lb and REAL fast. I didn't have the hunger issues just mood ones. It was the steroid itself that caused the weight gain but I got my hearing back. I'm very blessed as I've been working my weight off again. The edgy feelings are what I experienced and I couldn't hear anything either so I was VERY frustrated. I pray this subsides and you get to feeling better VERY soon.

I've never had that, so I cannot related. I just wanted to say that I was sorry that is happening to you. It stinks!
