Wooooot I got my date!! for Plastics

I am scheduled to go to my pre-op June 26 and surgery is July 23.  I could have gotten it earlier but I am going to have to work like a mad woman to build up enough time by then.  I am sooooooooo excited.  Well if anyone knows and understands that it's you guys.  I am having the LBL and BL with Dr. Krieger in Fairfax, VA.  I just simply cannot wait.  Ugh that wait is going to kill me....lol.

Ahhh, that's great Anna. I know you are excited. I know that is a little wait, but you originally thought it was going to be longer than that, right? If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know. I should be feeling good by then. How far is Fairfax from Roanoke? I hope not too far for you to go. Best of luck, Penny

Thanks everyone, I am just so excited.  Thank you Penny that is such a nice offer and I may take you up on it.   Yes it's a little bit of a wait but I can deal.  Your right I had originally thought I was going to have to wait about 4 yrs so  3 months is nothing compared to that.  I am absolutely thrilled.  I know Dr. K does great work and I can't wait to see what he does for me.   It's 3 and 1/2 hours from Roanoke but well worth the drive.  Hubby and I will go the night before and then the next night I stay in the hospital.  The day after that hubby goes home and my best friend Debbie will come up and get me to take me to the hotel.  She will stay there with me until I am released to go home.   At least that's the plan.  I think I will have 4 1/2 weeks of leave saved up just in case but am really hoping to not have to use it all.  Anna

Hi Anna,   Congratulations on your date!!! Hope that all goes as well as planned. Just a question, is insurance paying for the procedure? I tried to get insurance to pay, no go.  Cindy

Cindy, I think my insurance would have paid for the TT part of it but I couldn't even find a doc that would even submit insurance.  So I am paying out of pocket.  But you what it is so worth it.  Anna

Oh I am sooooo happy for you! You will not regret using Dr Krieger - he is an artist!! I love him! It will make such a difference  - you can wear otherr clothes and all your skin will not have to be tucked in all the time. I am scheduled to have my inner thighs done on the 23rd or the 25th June..... if the swelling in my knees goes down and my iron is improved.... so it is an iffy appointment and I can live in hope that I can be finally finished!
