What a beautiful day it was!

Hey y'all!  It was gorgeous today, minus the pollen.  We went to BG and had a blast.  My 4yr old had a whole day of firsts, she got to ride big bad wolf, roman rapids,etc  She loved it all. My knee hated all the walking so it is reallly swollen right now but dang it felt good to sit in the rides, harness down and PLENTY of room to spare.  I almost felt like Barbie Jen I am so sorry I haven't gotten back with you about a picnic.  I have several transactions going on at work along with meetings.  I have been literally scheduling my days in 15minute increments.  My hubby put me on work restriction today, wasn't allowed to turn on my cell or take it into BG.  Of course now I am sitting here catching up on the missed calls and e-mails.  But I do love my job :)

Autumn..... Sounds like you had a great time.  That's awesome!  And your little one...those firsts are SUCH a big deal to them. And didn't it feel great.  There is something about this journey and the amusement rides.  That seems to be a huge success to all of us - one that really makes us feel great.  Not sure if it has to do with making us feel young again, or if it is the real realization that we have in fact lost alot of weight, or that we are normal.  But, everyone goes to BG and comes back with this as a serious WOW moment.  Glad you got it!

Good am Autumn, That's wonderful! I remember when Dianna (Cappymoon) and I went to KD a few years ago and I hadn't been since losing weight and its was HILARIOUS in the fact I basically asked and asked to ride the SAME coasters over and over again. By the time we were down I was thinking she was like what in the world you already lost all this weight and I'm just getting there and YOU want to keep riding things? LOL! I did because just before surgery I had the WORST experience at KD with a team building event at work. NO MORE! :) Hope the knee isn't giving you too much of a fit. Work restriction....that sounds like me! Glad you had a great day!

I know, just a month before the bypass we were at BG and they couldn't close the harness on my hips ( apollo's chariot) and I had to get off the ride in front of hundreds of people. Talk about a wake up call
