SURGERY SCHEDULED!
Well, just arrived home from my pre-op appointment and have recieved my date for surgery! I am feeling excited, nervous, anxious and then excited again! I have been researching and reading posts for months now so I feel like I have done my homework but I feel like nobody can really really be ready for this life changing event. It will be a learning process from "re-birth". Trial and error to see what the pouch likes and dislikes, it matters no more what I like, the pouch will dominate. The team at Portsmouth seems so compassionate and truly cares about us, the patients. I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful staff. Oh, my date is May 14th! I go in one week prior for more educating and last minute issues on May 6th then the 14th of May is my day! Woo-Hoo, long anticipated wait is almost over!
