I have to say....

This is a phenomenal board.  There are bunch of positive and encoureging people here.  VA is a VERY lucky state.  But hey, I think us Virigniains are the best anyways.   This is a bunch of positive and encourging group and I am very thankful to be part of it.

I third agree...  I had researched this surgery for years before finally continuing to go through with it and get the date.  But no amount of research could ever benefit someone as much as talking with,  listening too and getting to know someone who has walked miles in the shoes you are about to put on.  I am a firm believer in "word of mouth" and I am so thankful to all the words that have come from the many people on this board.  I truly feel like I can go through this surgery next Wednesday with less fear and more knowledge and peacefulness than if I had had my surgery before I joined.  Thanks to every person on this board.  Even if you don't post all the time or if you do.  Each story or journey is different as much as it is the same and thus all of us continue to learn and grow. Big huge hugs!!!

One thing I failed to get out in the post (having 4 hours of sleep) was, compared to other boards on this site, this board is the most inspirational and motivating board.  The people on this board is so positive and give great motivation and inspiration.

Oh...how sweet of you to say that!  I know for me, at over 2 years out, this board keeps me on track and has become a natural part of my day....hanging with my friends.

And don't forget YOU are a part of the board being phenomenal.  Soon enough you'll be the inspiration to another new member...and so it goes from here on out.  :) Virginians are the best, well other than us CT ladies *****located TO virginia.  hee hee :P
