My preop went well

I had my pre-op today. Surgery is 1st thing Monday morning. I was down 2 pounds from my initial visit in January, so Dr. Lucktong was happy. I had gained a few in between, but took that off doing this preop diet. I feel like I'm in good hands. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I'm starting to get a little nervous and kinda snappy with people. I just have alot on my mind trying to get things in order. And of course, I keep getting curve balls. My goal was to not work this week and try to get my house nice and clean....it's not. I have a ton of clothes to wash, bills to pay. I just don't feel organized. And we've had 2 large unexpected expenses in the last couple weeks, so that has not been fun. Anyway...enough whining. I want to thank everyone so much for all of your support. You are the best support I could ask for. Your post and encouragements are great and motivating. I just want you all to know that I consider you as my friends. Without you all, I probably would not be having the surgery. Anna Bryant is my angel (I met her through this site). She is a great inspiration. I hope I don't let her down. Either her or my husband is going to post on Monday to let you know how the surgery goes. (You might want Anna, Lewis doesn't capitalize anything, LOL). Thanks all, Penny

Penny I am thrilled that everything went well for you today!  It is your time girlfriend.  As far as the house, bills, clothes, etc. don't stress too much over that, it will miraculously get done and everything will be just fine.  Everything always works out.  I will be keeping you in my prayers on Monday and can't wait to welcome you to the loser's bench.

Penny ~ I wish you well on Monday.  It is wonderful that you feel comfortable with your doctor and feel like your in good hands.  I think the nervousness and snappiness is normal.  Try to stay focused and take time for YOU before surgery.  Your family will benefit in the long run with a healthier you.  We will look for a post from Anna on Monday that you are on the losers bench.  Good Luck, your in my prayers.  Susan  :)

Penny you will be in good hands on Monday and we will all be waiting for you on the loser's bench!  It is natural to get a bit short with people - you do have a lot on your mind  - after all you are starting a new era in your life on Monday....... the healthy era..... You are going to do just fine!! Jackie

Thank you all for your replies. I was able to take 1/2 day off yesterday and got a few things done. So it's coming along.  My manager's wife is pregnant, and guess when they scheduled her to induce labor...Monday. Just our luck. So I'm having two part time office girls running the business for a week. 1 is in college, the other only been working for us for 1 month. Oh well, we'll get through it.  Thanks again, Penny
