Mirror - Mirror on the Wall ...

Remember that famous line from Snow White?  Mirror- Mirror on the Wall - who's the fairest of them all ...  Do you ever look in the mirror and say this . Probably not , as most would say - Gee Tink that is conceited . Nope it is not .  While on this journey , it is imparative that you start telling yourself that it is YOU .. that is the fairest, the one that is worth it and the one that deserves this healthy life   For many years , we struggled being Obese , put to the side- made to feel less than " pretty"  I am here to tell you that each and everyone of you are beautiful . That you are so worth this journey and that this day , Today is YOUR day If you woke up this morning , and are blessed with yet another day , You are the fairest. If you woke up today and are one less a medication , you are the fairest .  What I am trying to convey here is that while you may struggle , you may have the crapiest day ever, you must keep YOU, as the most important person in the game . It may sound a little selfish , especially if you are a Mom or Wife. But if you start putting yourself first, making sure that your needs, ( Vitamins ,Water , Nutrician - Exercise ) are being met , you will take care of the other needs even better.  It is so eay to get caught up in the daily grind.  But it pays to take some extra " Me " time . Each day. Even if it is 5 minutes . Take a moment to look at your goals , your expectations , meditate, pray and just breath in your succeses.  Many times we forget that we are succesful . We may be faltering somewhere in our lives, however, remembering where we came from , and how far we have come .  Well you say , I am struggling so hard to lose that 5 pounds, or I can't get in my protein , etc. What you need to look at is how to fix this , and thank yourself for being able to recognize when you do struggle and to have the ability to begin fixing things.  While on this journey, you will go through so many changes . Your body , your mind - your daily routines will change . Rewarding yourself for your accomplishments and taking time to congratulate yourself is so important .  So , the next time you look in the mirror , tell yourself - You are the fairest - and then blow yourself a kiss for the day.  Have a great Friday - Get out and enjoy this weather !  Tink

This past weekend I bought some clothes at BJ's (wholesale like Costco). I purchased a dress, jacket and shorts. I tried them all on when I got home and ran to tell my hubby to 'take my picture, cause I'm beautiful' They are on my myspace page http://www.myspace.com/beachlovingjen  I'm loving my new found shape and health!

Good am Natalie, This is an instrumental post for ALL of us. Your message is sticking in my heart and mind right now. Its been a troublesome set of days for me (longer really) and I have been skipping over "me" to compensate not wanting to deal with some situations/people and trying to continue being the "fixer" and "peace maker" when in reality its best to leave some things broken then to hurt ourselves trying to get them back together. (Love that quote so much!) Thanks for a reminder towards the end of your post. I need to get in touch with ME again! All best!
