Good luck for tomorrow!! I am sure you will do finer. I took a lot of stuff but never used any of it as they gave me a little kit that had everything I needed in it.... but it was a different hospital. So I would say take a chap stick, pillow, face cleanser and a book or something to listen to.... Jackie

YAY...by this time tomorrow you will be on the loser's bench !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Imagine that! Truthfully the only thing I brought with me was, toothbrush, hairbrush, smelly good's,* MY PILLOW * and extra Pj's and a robe. Truthfully I dont see any need for anything else. You'll do great! I was the first one in for surgery that morning and by the time I got my vitals done and my first shot for blood thinnning...the wheel chair was at the door ready to take me away. I dont remember how long I was in the room before they came to take me to the or because they gave me something to calm me a lil first. I know I was in the recovery for a LONG time but only because they didnt have enough bed's and I also found out that I was in and out so much that they kept having to wake me because my breathing was light...but to me that just means I was sleeping good! They took good care of me and I had an overall pleasent stay! With minimal pain...but BOY did my pillow come in handy because THEY HAD NONE for me the first night...!!!! Plus it helped the next day when I was in the wheel chair or awaiting the swallow test or in those HARD bed's!

The journey of a thousand mile's, start's with just ONE step!
