Post-storm check in...Please respond

It's just been brought to my attention via the new service that tornados have struck the Richmond area.  Please check in here & let us all know that you're ok.  I just spoke to Kat & she & her family are ok.

We are ok here at the Beach. I know Joe Green is from Colonial Heights vicinity.There are also members of our group living in the Suffolk area. Marion, Gwen and I believe Cleo all reside nearby. Glad Katters is OK.

I'm in Richmond and have not seen a tornado, so they must have missed my little corner of the West End!

Hey Ann...  I'm in Hanover, about 10 minutes outside of Richmond.  We had the horrible storms, I believe somewhere near here was a tornado but I do believe that south and slightly east, like Suffolk got it worse.  They were showing on the news that they had 2 tornados touch down, killing 1 and several were hurt.  My area was luckier this time.  The last storm, last week or so, we had 3 tornados touch down within a few miles of us.  Thanks for thinking about everyone.  Theresa is off back to cleaning and packing!!!

Colonial Heights wa**** hard again . In the same place it hit 13 years ago .  I used to live right in that area , and know it so well  I have many friends that live and work out there. I am still trying to hear if they are ok .  I will be in constant prayer until I hear from them , I am so worried. I just left that Mall area yesterday getting all of Alans party stuff . I just cannot believe it is happening again. I am glad Kat and Mom are safe . This is so bad .  Love and take care ,  'Tink

Hi Everyone, I am fine. We have a our business one block from Driver  and it is fine. My husband was at the shop tonight when the building started to shake and he looked out and he saw the funnel cloud about 40 feet from our shop. It touched down on the next block and it has distroyed most of the businesses in Driver. It is so sad. But we feel very lucky that our business is safe. We are just without power there and a lot of trees down. I talked to Marion earlier tonight and she is fine too. Gwen

Thank goodness! We are fine here at Ft Eustis, they did have one or two touch down about 6 miles from here in James City County but thankfully all is well here.

Good am Ann, Thanks for calling last pm. It was a hectic pm but it was nice of you to think of us. The more time that passes the more folks are being accounted for and the clean up and continued prayers and thoughts are coming together. Some scary moments yesterday! I sent around video (brief though it may be) that my sis's bf caught which was just awing. He's a fireman/EMT and its just something else to hear stories. We're great and we've heard from others and the prayers continue. Hugs.............
