Be Fearless!

Mary has come up with today's thought and challenge (WAY TO GO MARY!!!) Be Fearless!   Just because we have lost the weight does not mean that life is all butterfflies and birds.  We still have to deal with the lack of confidence that made and kept us overweight. I personally have found that the only way to break out of the self loathing cycle is to do something that you would not have considered doing before.  This is where my running, pole dancing and now motorcycle driving came from.  These have improved my confidence to where I considered doing other things in my life that are positive, instead of continuing along the same negative path I was on when I was 265. In running, I never imagined being considered an "athlete", but it boosted my self esteem to try pole dancing.  The pole dancing forced me out of my comfort-zone.  I had to interact with others who did NOT know me at 265 AND create a dance routine and perform it in front of them.  It allowed me to safely create an alter-ego (VIXXXEN) who has never been 265 pounds and takes no sh*t from no one. This boosted my confidence to try other things. So, Mary's thought of Be Fearless is GREAT!  We have to be fearless to get to where we want to be. Thinking back along the journey, how have you been fearless?  How did you change because of being fearless?  Looking at your life today, is there a way that you can be fearless? Mary - great topic for today!
