And You Thought I Was Not Going to Be There...

I am so sorry I missed out on the Events this weekend. So glad to hear it was successful for Jackie and that you all had such a great time .  My event was nothing less than a bomb, and I really wish I could say it was what I expected. More people where interested in Gastric Bypass rather than how Obese their children where .. Long story ..  Any hooo... so you all got to see my boobs !! I just had those pics take about a week ago . Dr. Krieger is amazing is he not ?  I am so glad I moved forward with the decision to do my plastics. It has been a tough journey, one I am done with , and now working on the muscles and building a shaplier body is my next goal.  So glad to be home ! Thanks again for the prayers for my daughter. She is doing better , but still a little under the weather.  Enjoy the day !  Natalie

First off...very glad to get continued good news about your daughter...thanks for keeping us in the loop.  As for you "bombing out"....hmmmm....since I am a true believer that all things happen for a reason, maybe you accomplished more than you are giving yourself credit for.  You may not have reached ALL that you wanted to, but I bet your ultimate message got out to at least a few & that's always good.  In the meantime, it sounds like you promoted the wls to those that probably need it, so maybe don't look at the event as a bomb.  Wait for it.  You may be surprised yet. I'm afraid I missed most of the good stuff...didn't arrive till well after lunch...was feelin' kinda puny that morning.  But what I did see I enjoyed.  The best part for me was watching Jackie in action...very impressive, getting to meet some "friends" in person for the first time, & then sharing a fun evening dining with my OH Ohana.  We really did have a good time.  As for Dr. Krieger...he got a lot of $$$ outta me...lol  I bought some of his skin care stuff.  Dang that stuff's expensive...but I do like the results.  Besides...I'm WORTH IT!!!  hehehehe So chin up, kiddo...you done good.  Give yourself credit!!

Sorry to hear your thing was a bomb.  Didn't they understand why you were coming all of that way?  I mean...since they invited you to a childhood Obesity rally, you would think that they understood what you were going to speak about.

But..like Anne said..things happen for a reason.

Thanks for the update on your daughter.  I was wondering last night how she was doing.  did they ever figure out what happened??

I must have been out of the room because I don't recall seeing boobs on his slides.  But, I'm sure they were amazing.....

Like Ann said maybe it was not such a bomb after all. Taking into consideration that 90 % of the people there where obese, my story from childhood forward spoke to them as well  . Many wanted to know what I ate , how long it took to get the weight off . Things like that ...  Yepper they were there . the boobs that is .. my phone started ringing about 9 last night and when I went to Kriegers last week, I had to re-sign the forms to show my pics again .  I am very pleased . It really makes up for the tissue loss I had .  As to figuring what she has , Jill D has given me a name of another Neurosurgeon and hopefully he will help us to get answers. Well...that's cool, as long as you can find a successful moment in it. But I must admit that I almost spit my drink when I just read your post....people recognized you by YOUR BOOBS......

Hey Tink -- I am SO sorry you weren't able to be at the Ashburn event.  I really wanted to see you again!  And I am doubly disappointed the event you DID attend bombed.  Man, that sux!  New boobies??  I gotta see!!  I am hoping to start my plastics journey soon, having suddenly gotten into a normal weight range. WHEE ... I would have never dreamt it possible. Keep in touch, GF ... we missed you! Ample hugs...

Nat I am so sorry you did not feel the event you attended was a success but some good may come of it - and anyway the organizers should have done a better job letting everyone know what they were supposed to be attending. Was the event advertised properly? Next time you shoud do it yourself and organize the event  that way people will know what they are attending....... Glad your daughter is feeling better  and hope she recovers soon....... I never saw the boobs either - I was probably out of the room doing my many costume changes lol!! But I have seen them live anyway ! Jackie
