Identify Your Fitness Weakness
Often times, we find that our fitness routine is a challenge to continue. Maybe it is because of lack of time, lack of motivation, maybe we are self conscious about going to the gym, or maybe it is that you just do not know what to do. When you begin to feel that your routine is a challenge to continue, it's time to take a step back to figure out why and how you can fix it. Do you need to consult with a personal trainer? Do you need more accountability and motivation? Do you need to do some Internet research or read a book about fitness? There are some great books on the market (my fav is Fitness for Dummies) and some great Internet sites (Nat turned me on to Sparkpeople - thanks Nat!) out there waiting to help you. Then, of course, there is always the OH board. The Exercise and Fitness forum is a great place for information, the Virginia Board is a great place for motivation and accountability....make sure you take advantage of all of the resources available. So...for today....think about what prevents you from staying active and make a plan for overcoming your weakness. I LOVE boxing...that's how I lost my weight. In fact, for Christmas I got a punching bag a PINK boxing gloves...gotta love it!!! Keeping working at the kicking. It can take a little time to get there. What I like to do is put on the song Crazy B*tch, by Buckcherry. I box for the entire song, and every time they get to the chorus, I kick the bag over and over again. Ya, I love Sparkpeople - thanks for the tip. I LOVE the videos they have that show the various moves. Gotta love that!!! Good luck with your daughter!

That's why I love Pole Dancing so much. While it's organized, it's not. I'm not at a gym (which I HATE!) and yet getting the same (if not better) results!
Just keep searching...you'll find something....
