I get frustrated that progess isn't quicker and that I can't do what I used to be able to do... or get down on myself for how far back I let myself go... GOSH Even writing that I want to   LOL.... I need a kick ass buddy who will drag me or yell at me to get going at times Sometimes I just need positive reinforcement... Definetly doing more out of the gate than I should can sometimes be a hinderence also... Im considering going to a personal trainer, but haven't found one I liked so I have a lot of history with meat heads that don't care about motivating or see a "fat" girl (excuse me) and automatically fall into the sterotype... so I haven't been back to one since WLS...  Funny this should come up though because last night at my support group meeting we had a personal trainer come talk to us. He and his wife opened up a personal training salon (is that the right word?) where its one on one sessions, no gym, no waiting, and their overall beliefe focus is on moving and core and just over all I agreed with their perspective.. it was all about lifestyle.....  So that my friend, is my ramblings....

You know, I actually found my trainer through my surgeon's office - they work a lot with pre-op (and I assume post-op) WLS patients.  I wonder if your surgeon has someone they recommend (or someone in your support group may have someone)  I would definitely recommend mine, but you probably don't want to drive all the way to Richmond.

Amanda, Check out my post on the Womens Challenge. ALL types of movement count. Housework, gardening,miniature golf, dancing etc. Come on you can do it!

Aww...come on , Girl.....you got that 1/2 marathon coming up. Since I've got one coming up, too...we'll motivate each other!  You can TOTALLY do this!!!
