What Are YOU Doing To Move Today???

Good Morning, Fitness Fanatics...... Only a few more days until we start the Woman's Challenge.  Make sure you get signed up on the Virginia Beauties team before Sunday.  This ia GREAT way to be accountable to your fitness and to have some fun along the way! So...what are YOU doing to move today??? Me?  Well, I must confess...life got int he way yesterday so I did not go to my fitness class AND I did nothing.  Today is suppose to be a rest day, but since I took it yesterday I will be either heading to a fitness class or running 5 miles.  It will depend on timing, but I WILL be doing something! So....until tomorrow...stay safe.....stay hydrated.....stay moving!

I got 4 at lunch today,...and a little wet.  The social golf league I've been invited to join as a substitute my first year, that plays 9 holes every Thursday here at Fort Lee, and starts today, is looking like a rain-out  but its early still.                       Go VA Beauties!!!!

Oooo oooo ooooo!!!  Guess what???  Guess what???  GUESS WHAT?????  I did the coolest thing yesterday & I'm so proud of myself I could just bust!!!!  I...MYSELF...mowed 1/8+ acre!!!!!  Not on a riding mower either, but with the good ol gas-powered push mower!!!!  I had to take 4 breaks & it took me about 2 hours, but by doggie, I did it!!!!  I wish we were already doing the Woman's Challenge cuz that would have counted like crazy!!!!  I even sent picture mail to a few of ya as proof...LOL!  I asked someone to send it to you, Jill, cuz I don't have your cell ph #.  Sooooo, that's what I did yesterday.   As for today....ohhh am I sore!!! LOL  But I still got out & pruned my peach & apple tree & did some weeding before the rains came.  Maybe I'll crawl onto my boring stationary bike & let my brain go numb on that thing for awhile.  But....I DID IT !!!!!

Amanda, that was PERFECT!!!  And I love that song.,.,,.,thanks!!!  Of course you realize that I will NEVER be able to mow the lawn again without that song in my head.  You've now made that my lawn mowin' theme song!!!

that's awesome!!  I haven't mowed the lawn in YEARS.  It is KILLER on your legs.  My calves would flare up from all the pushing and walking hard.

Ann- So proud of you!! Just think...you have a built in exercise routine....1/8th a day....that's over a week's worth, especially if you build in rest days! HA!  :-)

So I bought this new Leslie Sansone DVD called Walk and Jog and is a 30 minute work out with intervals of walking and jogging (amazing huh? HA!)......I did it today........I walked and jogged the entire thing......which is 2.5 miles according to the DVD! I'll be ready for tha t5K before I know it!  SO....a question for you Ms. Running gal........before you had the plastics, how did you deal with the floppy skin!? I had to hold the girls while jogging 'cause they were flopping around in the bra....help! (Sorry if that's TMI for some!)
