Whoo Hoo!! I got my date!!

It depends. You will know at your last apt with ms Boone what he wants you to do.  I had the 5 day and the 2 day bowel prep then had my surgery cancelled the morning of and had to do the liquid diet for 3 days and bowel brep for 2 again. Congratulations on your date marion

Please can you tell me what your number is? My pre op appointment is at the end of May. How long after your pre op is your surgery scheduled and do you know if they are they doing any surgery in July? Thanks a million for any info you can give me!! GOOD LUCK!!!!

My understanding is they are not doing any surgeries in July.  I had my first preop on May 8th and then was scheduled for June 4th, but only because of a cancellation otherwise it will be the 18th.  Now my situation is different from most as they need the whole day for my surgery, therefore, they are not scheduling anyone else on that day.  The procedure is 2 and a half hours, normally and they can do multiple surgeries in a day.  So it may not be as hard as you think to get a June date.  My suggestion is to call Ms. Boone and see what her thoughts are.  If you can get her on the line, she is so busy.  Good Luck on that June surgery date!  I hope you get one!  Lisa
