Ummm I think my body finally gets it...
You know, my body responds to the scale funny, too. I will hit a low point, and STAY there for WEEKS, then BOOM, drop to a new low 5-10 pounds lower. I will then bounce between the old and new low for WEEKS ... thinking I am stuck and this is where I am going to stay, only to suddenly drop another 5+ seemingly overnight.
That is what happened just recently. I had been hovering between 183 and 190 for gosh, 2 months or more. I thought this is where I am, where I will be. And yes, I could live with that total, especially not having had plastics yet. Then suddenly, having not weighed myself for like a week, I step on the scale and was 163! I had to check it several times. 2 days later I was 170. Then 165, 163 ... then after the weekend, 158. I am claiming the 158 for now.
I think the number on the scale sometimes takes time to catch up to what our bodies are doing. At least MINE does.
