I just wanted to come and say Happy Mother's Day to all you beautiful Mother's out there today and enjoy your weekend with your children and family's. In talking with a friend this morning an she telling me of her lil ones making her a lil pre-mother's day breakfast made me think how so many of us out there miss out on this day for whatever reason so I hope all you Mother's will share your story's I love hearing them. As I was telling here I always bought my mom here planting flowers for her flower beds, but this year well she wont have them. So I have to come up with something different, I only have a few hours so Im hoping to get a few good ideas from you great  lady's. Enjoy those angels God gives then to us for a small time. I know this isnt the place and my emotion are all over the place yesterday coming home from school I stopped in to see my  pookie and you all know what he does for a living. Well he was getting ready for a funeral and I met one of the funeral directors I hadnt seen before and as I seen him unloading the van he carried the coffin to the grave. This poor couple had triplets and only one lived and I was like crused at that moment and have been a mess since. W/ Mother's day and this  toothache and my Mom moving the week I have been very  down. Enjoy them tell them and your mom you love her and them, Ok Im sorry for being down. Just needed to post where I knew all understood the emotions an the depression os this everyday walk we make. Just to let you all know Im not always strong.  Hope all has a great weekend.

(((hugs)))))) Happy Mothers Day to  everyone !!!!!!   For those of you still blessed to have your Mother alive cherish her as i miss mine so much .  One of my better Mothers Day memories  is when my daughter was little i use to eat fruit & yogurt for breakfast . She was too little to cut it up in wedges  & pour the yougurt over top  as i did. So she brought me  the yougurt  & an orange & handed it to me while i was still in bed . She was soooooooo  proud of her  5yo self as she screamed Happy Mothers Day  ! That was my breakfast in bed

Happy mothers Day Melinda!  I know you will find the best gift your your mom ever, even though you won't be able to do the flower beds.  My heart goes out to the fmaily that lost two of their babies.

Happy Mother's Day to everyone!    As we stop to reflect on what our mom meant to us as children or know as adults..remember those who may not have their mom. Or in this case...a mom loosing her teenage daughter when a tractor trailer ran a red light yesterday morning.  Stay well to all!    Cindy

Big hugs to you Melinda!!!!  Sounds like you are definitely having a rough week.  Perhaps you could get your mom a planting box or pots she can keep inside or on a balcony/patio & fill those with flowers?  My girlies are with their mom this weekend so I won't get to spend the time with them but I am hoping for a phone call or something but we shall see.  It is a bit sad for me because it is my first real mother's day but don't want to pu**** as I respect that I am not the biological mom.  I did pick out a card though to give their mom, mainly because I want to thank her for allowing me to be a part of their lives.  She could make things nasty as some moms do when it comes to stepmoms, but she doesn't.  I have plans of brunch with my mom tomorrow & invited her to go to church with us too.  I picked up a corsage for myself & for her.  Went out today and got her a beautiful hanging fuscia plant for her back yard.  Will be spending time with my stepmom next weekend as she is in Jamaica this weekend (lucky dog).  A little sad myself as I think about my grandma & miss her.

"I'm not always strong". But you are human! And you are loving, kind, generous and as sweet as can be. Nobody expects you to be strong all of the time, but we certainly benefit from the other things that you are! You have a LOT on your plate sweetie and it never helps to see another family facing the worst kind of loss. Take good care of yourself during these times and let us help carry you when you need it! xoxo

Good am Melinda, Late replying to this from yesterday but here I am. I wanted to say "thanks" for talking to me last pm. You won't understand why but trust me when I say I'm glad I stayed talking to you so late instead of doing what I planned originally. My buggas have really made me feel wonderful as well as their Dad and my Mom, parents and friends. Hadn't been fairing well in the emotional/mental categories for some time now but I know I am thankful for the little things which mean so so much to me. The best parts of this weekend have been time with the buggas, laughing, playing, goofing off, watching movies, playing games on the puter (trust me these are GREAT for us adults too because the ones we've been playing are on nutrition and diet/exercise. I LOVE it! Some are challenging and others are simple and its good to be able to learn and/or explain why the answer is what it is. I know you are facing things right now with your mom's move and things changing but a GREAT quote that I love, love, love is "If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies" ....author unknown. Now, the BEST gift EVER above all else is the gift of TIME ..............all the cards, gifts, flowers, candy, jewelry etc won't leave as much of an impact as the gift of TIME. Hugs and love to you and others on this Mother's Day!
