I just came from The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show in Atlanta this weekend and did I have a GREAT time! I just LOVE seein' y'all in person and am so grateful when you come out! So, if you came to my show in Atlanta, Michael and I, and Jamie and Bobby appreciate you coming out and seeing us.

If you didn't get to Atlanta over the weekend, I'm hittin' the road again in November and will be at The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show in Washington, D.C. November 8 - 9.

How is your daughter doing? Have they found out what went on with her? Hope all is well with her. Sorry if you have posted and I have missed it been busy and maybe have missed the post. Paula Dean she is hoot love her shows.  

Thanks for asking Melinda . But the answer is still no. Now they think she has been infected by a tick bite . She had pulled a tick off her 2 weeks ago . And when the blood cultures came back , they asked her had she been bitten by a tick .  I have no clue why this has taken so long to figure out . But she is doing better . WAY better , Thank God !  I love Paula too , I hope her show is good . The tickets are a little high for me , but will see.  Have a great Saturday .. Nat

I hope they get their answers soon.  I had a friend who got one of the tick diseases a few years ago & after the antibiotics, etc.  (flu like, lethargic symptoms) it took him several months to get his energy & all back.  If that is what is happening to her it make take a bit before she is 100%.  My thoughts & prayers are with you guys.

I love Paula, and was VERY dissapointed when I saw her here last year.   It was not very well organized, the prices on the food items were over priced, the audience was given an opportuntiy to ask her questions and that turned into 3 questions and a bunch of "Can I give you a hug".  She spoke her story, but any fan has heard it more times than can count. We were given samples to taste, and that was cool, but had to be carful (I was afraid of dumping while sitting there - and it was close on the chocolate gooey butter cake). But, all in all....she was nice, but not really worth the price of admission (except that it went for a good cause). Hope you have a better time!

I agree Jill. I seen her in Charlotte, NC. and was very disappointed. We were not given any samples. She had her brother and her husband with her and they just chatted on stage. She cooked a few items and about 6 people got to taste it. Her content was a little "rough" for my taste also.  I still like her though on tv. Maybe she'll be different for your show.
