Good am, How are ya'll doing? How was your Mother's Day? I hope it was beautiful, meaningful and memorable. Mine was nice and started a little early on Saturday. The buggas woke me up with a pre-momma's day breakfast. Kayla said they couldn't wait until Sunday. So, they took chairs and climbed up onto the counter and got down a glass and saucer out of the cabinet. They wanted to make me toast but Kayla was afraid she'd burn it so they got butter out of the fridge and put it on some white bread. Then they poured me a glass of water since Kayla said they couldn't get open an AcheivOne bottle and the coffee pot ..."momma it looks mean and big and I only know how to push the button." They brought it to me in bed and I was really smiling and both wished me happy early momma's day and then said "aren't you gonna eat it momma?" Oh my gosh I RARELY if ever eat bread and definitely NOT white bread but I took off the crust and ate the piece of bread and drank some of the water. Its the thought and I didn't want to let them down. Sunday I woke to a handmade card, another card and a bone china set (saucer and cup) with an arrangement of flowers in it. How sweet and thoughtful. We vegged around the house especially with the high winds and heavy downpours of rain. We watched movies, played games on the computer and enjoyed our time together. What's on the books for your Monday? I'm not entirely sure I know exactly what's going on today but I plan to get some things done around the house, get in my walk and find some "me" time in between. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and stays warm and dry. The winds are still very high here with more rain. Hugs to all....

How sweet was that!  Handmade cards are the best!  I can't imagine life without my "buggas" even though they are 19 and 25!  Glad you enjoyed your day with the family.  Susan  :)

Good Morning, Sunshine..... Well...I was up really late last night (didn't feel too well) and woke up still feeling under the weather.  So, I'm home today resting.  Well....for the most part - haha.  I do plan to walk for 30 minutes today and go to a fitness class later today.  But, for the most part, I'm curled up on the couch in jammies. I'm reading Prince Caspian right now so I'll be doing some reading today, and I have a scrapbook project that I want to work on to finish, so that's on the list, too. That's about it..... Enjoy your "me" day!

Well it sounds like you had a marvelous Mother's Day weekend.  I think you needed it.  Well my weekend was great.  It was a quiet weekend filled with lots of time at home to relax.  Saturday night my hubby and I celebrate our 6 month anniversary of being married.  We had a quiet romantic dinner, danced in the dining room, enjoyed some jazz music, cuddled, talked, gave each other massages & really just relaxed together & enjoyed ourselves.  Was a wonderful evening.  Yesterday we got up and went to church & my mom joined us.  Then we went out to brunch.  Came home & took advantage of the gloomy day, we watched movies, took a nap, ate some snacks, read, played video games, enjoyed a nice lite dinner, and rested.  It was fabulous.  Today is again gloomy & rainy, got some bills to pay here at work that will take up most of my day, support group on the schedule for tonight.  Other than that not too much going on.  Have a great one!!!!!

Well, as you read my Mothers Day was great . Today I am in trying to unpack from my trip, making some phone calls and doing some much needed personal things. ( Long Hot Soaking Bath ) LOL .  The rain here is terrible . Alan was detoured 4 times until he made it in to the station. The winds here are really whipping as well as the rain . I have a tree down out front, It is part of the common  area , so I am sure they will be getting it up today.  I finished my 3:16 Book, and just started another Max Lucado - When God Whispers Your Name. So far it is really awesome . So, reading , taking some me time .. and just decompressing from all that has gone on the past 2 weeks...  Enjoy the day .. stay dry !  Nat
