Well I am stepping out of the box . I am about seven months out and my bad habits have crept back into my life, not exercising right, trying to eat way too much and the wrong thing. I am basically wanting to see if someone could help me by calling me once a day or emailing just so I have someone that I can get some feedback from and maybe that will get my butt in gear! I have lost a total of 131 pounds but since I started out heavier I have sooooo much further to go and I know its not going to happen on the path I am on right now. If anyone is interested please post here or PM me. Thanks for any help or encouragement. PS my mom was willing to be this person, but I think it would ultimately get pissed at her and I don't want to ruin the great relationship we have, and well my hubby is just tooooo nice to be mean to me so there it is out on the table

Hey Karen. Before anything, let me applaud you for noticing your wrong doings and/or mistakes and owning them. And then let me double applaud you for trying to do what ever it takes to correct them. We ALL falter. That is a given but realizing it and owning it and then trying to fix it is the key. Congrats on your weight loss. That is an awesome amount to have lost. Just have faith that the rest will come off as did those others. We, on this board, are all here for you and please feel free to write venting to us. I honestly do hope it gets better hun! Big hugs to you

Hi Karen ~ The road back to the right path is the road your on.....recognizing the problem and getting it under control is the first step!  You have come such a long way, don't look back now.  Tommorow is a new day with new beginnings, make it YOUR DAY to turn around your habits for a healthier you.  You know what you need to do although not always the easy way.  Nothing worrth working so hard for is ever easy, we all know that.  Although I am a newbie here I am very willing to touch base with ya on a regular basis.  Good Luck and think about how far you have come, you can do this, we believe in you! Susan :)

Ok girlie, crawl out from under the chair....we seeeee youuuuuuu.  Honey, as everyone has already said, you have already done one of the hardest parts of this whole wl thing...admitting your weakness & then seeking help.  Instead of beating yourself up for slipping, I want you to look in the mirror & say to yourself, "I can do this.  I've lost 131 so far...I can keep going.  Tomorrow's a new day."  WE are all here for you, for me, for each other...EVERYDAY.  So put down that cookie, grab your water jug & get back to work! I'm so proud of you.

Hugs!
Ann

Good am Karen, Um that chair can't hide you from us! You should totally know better! You've come here and let us know you need us so expect that we'll give you (hopefully) what you need. Its NOT an easy journey. Might have been for a little bit but its not gonna be forever. You've lost 131 lb and that's an amazing accomplishment. You gotta get yourself thinking positively. Turn all your bad choices into good ones. Make choices that you are proud of. Make yourself accountable each day to a food journal. Write down EVERYTHING you eat and drink. Walk each day no matter what. Enlist a friend or even your mom and say I really would like you to walk with me. Get rid of all the "bad" things in your home that you might be tempted by. Think about what life was like before losing the 131 lb and how much you don't want to go back there. Set some small goals for yourself and put time frames and prizes on them once they are completed. Come here and be held accountable. Its why I post each day here with the exception of the weekends now & then. Its for accountability and constant reminders/interactions, tips, tricks, lessons learned and more. Focus on YOU and getting back on track. Get in LOTS of protein, drinks LOTS of good fluids and exercise as much as you can. Motivation is a bummer for us ALL sometimes but we have to keep trying. Don't give up! Hugs..............

Very impressed over here with your dedication & willingness to admit your falter.  As others have said, we have all been there.  Perhaps a daily post on accountability would help, maybe that could be something that you do every day, not only for yourself but for others that are faltering too.  Me & the gym has been a constant struggle for awhile.  I get good for awhile and go go go then I let things get in the way and get off track.  We are here for you!!  You can do it!!!!

Hey Karen..  congratulations on your courage to ask for help.  You know I will help you in any way that I can.  How about if we meet on yahoo messenger every afternoon and we talk about what you had to eat, drink, and what exercise you have done or are planning to do for the day.    Are you journaling your food?  If not, please consider doing this.  It is the only thing that helps to keep me on track.  I do it manually in a little notebook as well as on www.thedailyplate.com.  It is amazing to be able to see it and realize what your downfalls are.   Be sure to get all your protein and supplements everyday without fail.  The protein will help curb your hunger as well as all of the other added benefits that it has.   Let's meet online later this afternoon, okay?  You can do this!!!
