I have been asked by many as to what make/model of heart rate monitor I bought. This apperas to be the one that i bought....http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000P8VWQS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top It's basic and I love it!

Ya know what just came to me? I'm seeing my cardiologist tomorrow...I wonder if I could get a prescription for mine & let insurance pay for it? Worth mentioning, huh? Maybe I could get the one with all the bells & whistles. Jill, I'm so glad you brought this to our attention. I'll let ya'll know how my quest goes.

That is an awesome idea. I know that I got a prescription from my cardiologist for a blood pressure monitor kit and it was covered by my insurance. I think it's called durable medical equipment. Definitely worth checking into!
