Update on hubby & mom
Well after a very crazy day I finally am able to sit & update. A brief story to catch you all up (in case you missed my response to Kat's post this a.m.) My hubby almost collapsed at work yesterday. His doctor diagnosed him with dehydration/heat issues & sent him home with instructions of rest & lots of gatorade. So we got the girlies last night & on his way to take them home for school this a.m. it happended again & he had to call me to come get him. My mom was scheduled for surgery today for some tests on an abnormal lymph node in her neck. Well after getting hubby a doctors appointment for this afternoon, I dashed in to work for a bit to get a few things done, dashed off to the hospital to be with my mom, then rushed home to get hubby to the doctor. Mom came out of surgery fine, the preliminary tests show were benign & they will have full results in 48 hours. She is home resting. Hubby & I went to the dr., & after I filled in some details hubby did not tell the dr. yesterday, he is being treated for pnuemonia. He has had pnuemonia bad before so the dr. wanted to jump right on it. He has to go in for the next 3 days for IV anitbiotics & fluids, then back to the dr. on Friday to follow up. Home resting with plenty of fluids for the rest of the week. So everything has worked out okay and I am beat & exhausted. Have a great evening & I will check in tomorrow.
Hi, Courtney: I have been thinking about you, your hubby and Mom -- so glad to hear that things have worked out, and you are able to take a breath. I am glad to hear that the news on your Mom is positive -- that is wonderful. I am sorry to hear that your husband is being treated for pneumonia, but it sounds like his doc is right on it...and that is a good thing!!! You are all in my thoughts and prayers....hang in there, and remember to take care of YOU! :)
Courtney I am so glad your mom and Mat are doing ok and Matt better listen or he will be up in the hospital. Now to you, you better take care of yourself and be getting in plenty of fluids in so you dont get down you here!!!! Sending hugs kiddo keep us posted...

Wow, I did not read the earlier post. But wow! What a rough day. I am glad you mom is doing OK and so far everything is benign. I hope you husband gets better fast and he RESTS! I know it is hard to tell me to rest when i have 101 things to do and life would be better with 40 hours in one day, but this is serious and I hope he gets better. One more thing, while you are caretaking of everyone else, do not forget about YOU!!!
I am SO happy to hear from you and glad things are headed in a better direction. I hope that you take some time for you and take care of yourself. YGM (you got mail) Love you.
