Hello from a stranger!
Hi, Guys.
Long time no talk for some of you. I know that most of us are keeping in touch on My other Space, so I thought I would pop on here and say hi and see what everyone else is up to. There are so many new faces, I'm glad to see that. This site was/is such a great tool for those who are pre and post op. I'm coming up on 2 years out myself, I can't believe it.
Life is still crazy, but I'm alive and well! I don't really want to write about all the shenanigans, I just wanted to say hi and see how you guys are doing!
Miss you guys,
Amber
P.S.
I'm SO glad to see you are still at it, Jill. You are such an inspiration to all! Keep up the good work.
Hi Amber! I was just thinking about you the other day, since you had surgery right before I originally joined this forum the end of July 2006 when I made the decision to have surgery and I remember closely following your progress and being impressed with how strong and beautiful you are despite everything you've been through. Glad things are going well for you and I hope that you've met all of your goals (or come close!). Glad you checked in!
Hey Surgery Sister!!!
SOOOO good to hear from you on here. I think if life wasn't crazy for us we'd not know what to do with ourselves!
Are you doing anything fun for your 2 year surgiversary?? I was going to go skydiving but that got the kabosh when my normally easy going mom totally freaked out and said she didn't have a good feeling about me doing that....so I'm going to trust my mom's intuition for once. Keep in touch....you have my email!

YOU are amazing! I heart ya!

Wow, you all look so different, hardly recognizable...and that's a good thing! You seem to be doing amazing and I'm proud of you all! I've missed you guys too. I'm going to try and do better about checking in and seeing those I don't talk to outside of here.
I'm glad life throws me my little curveballs, (or growth bumps as I call them) it definitely keeps me on my toes and I always feel better once I get over the bump!
I'm still maintaining on my weight, but need to get my butt in gear if I ever want to have plastics done. I'm kinda surgeried out right now after having my tubes tied in January, that was the downfall to my working out, but that is changing.
I'm so glad its Friday and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Christina, I'm so glad you didn't do it too! It's not a good time for that right now, glad you trusted your Mom's instinct. I also want to do it, maybe we can go together someday? I don't have anything planned for this year because I have no idea when I'm gonna have to jump on a plane to Washington State because of my Dad. I will probably just get a massage or something, that's always nice! Talk more soon!
Love you guys,
A
