Obesity Helps Event on October 11th

I was just talking with Joanna Fee - the OH Events Manager and she says that the event is on for October on the 11th in Ashburn, VA at the Embassy Suites Hotel - same as last time! Now the ticket prices are set at $40 BUT there is a special promotional code of  Cardinal08  which can be applied to it which will bring the price down to $25........ You can't order your tickets yet as it doesn't accept the code but the event is up for you to keep an eye on.... but your $25 does include a good lunch at the hotel.  The event was free in May but that was the only time the events have ever been free  - and you can see it only lasted our event and the last one and now they have had to go back to charging - but it is well worth the money just for the experience and the speakers! Plus you can visit vendors and get samples etc   There will be  a special rate negotiated for the hotel for those that want to stay overnight too!  Also Joanna just asked me to be the MC/Event's Host at the October 11th Event!!!!!! So hope to see you there again in October!!!! Woohooo!!!!!!! It will be fun! Jackie  

Thanks for checking and letting us know. I didn't make the last one, since my surgery was only 3 days before but I am excited to say that I can not wait to attend this one. There are so many that I want to meet. Are we able to go ahead and make reservations already?, or should we wait? I just want to make sure I get a room, lol. Thanks for helping with this.

Hi Teresa, They haven't finalized everything with the hotel yet and if you try to book now it won't accept the code so you need to hold on a couple of weeks or call them to book - but as soon as I know it is cleared for that I will let you all know.  I just talked with Joanna today so I wanted to make sure everyone knew the status, as people have been asking about it. But it is definatly happening in October!! Jackie

You did such a fantastic job last time -- I am not surprised in the least they asked you to do it again!!!  CONGRATS!!!  I am looking forward to attending in October...I'll keep my eyes open for them selling the tickets.  Thanks for the heads up.  :)

Good am, I'll be there (as of right now)! Looking VERY forward to it. Am already talking to a few others bout carpooling and rooming together to save on expenses. Hugs...........
