New Family Member!!

I have always wanted another "ginger"  (orange) cat ever since my one died in the UK.  We already have two cats but Bill kept telling me no more cats. Well today we went for dog food and lo and behold there was a litter of ginger cats (sorry term used in the UK - not sure what you call them here). Bill's first words were "No F Way" - then "no no no"  - the "Oh Jackie - we don't need another cat"  then finally "well, what is one more cat!"  So now we have a ginger and white 8 week old kitten that we have called Sneakers! Connor is delighted!!  So now he is running crazy and our other two cats are afraid of him...........lol!!  I know - I am crazy lol! Hope you all had a good day! Jackie

I just read this and thought I was dreaming . I too am looking for what I call an Orange Tabby Baby. Are there more kittens like this one ? I want a baby so bad . I go to Pet Smart all the time looking for kittens , but they mostly have older ones.  Congrats on the new member. I know she has a great home .  Natalie

They had three more kittens like him from the same litter They are all 8 weeks old. It was at the Petsmart in Central Park but it is not a Petsmart adoption but a CARE one so they only have their shelter animals on display on Saturdays and Sundays....... He was so sweet last night - spent most of the night in the bed  - he was not phased by the other cats at all and although they have hissed at him a little, they were all getting along mostly. He still has his claws so he can do more damage tp them than they can to him. He is a sweet friendly soul... Jackie

That's spiffy! Congrats on the new addition to the fam. My buggas keep asking for a puppy and so that's the topic of discussion lately. Hmmmm no decision yet but we'll see. Hugs...............

Thanks Kat! I think kids that are brought up with animals learn compassion at an early age and it is good for them to have some responsibility. Although Connor thinks his responsibility is their playmate lolol! Jackie

Yeay to the new fur-baby!  I love the term "ginger" for a orange colored cat.  :)  orange is my hubby's favorite and he has requested if we get another cat one day to get an orange one.

Well we went back today to get his brother too and they had not brought the kittens back in - so we adopted him anyway and we pick him up next Saturday - and this time it was my husband's idea to have his brother so they could play together...... I can't wait until next Saturday!! Jackie

WOW!  He's really turned around!  :)  TWO new fur-babies.  How wonderful!
