3 Months Post Op

I had my three month check up last week I am down 59 pounds from 221 to 162. My labs were good with the exception of my iron being low, have to work on that. I have had major problems with eating so had an EGD Tuesday and have multiple ulcers and was put on two medicines that seem to be making a difference.

I went yesterday evening to buy some jeans and was shocked when I tried on a 14 and they were to big...............I bought size 12. Wow!!!! I just wish when I looked in the mirror I could see the loss, I only see it in my face and neck. I am sure someday it will catch up with me or at least that is what I have heard. I am still amazed at the size 12 jeans. I still have a ways to go to get to my goal  but it is getting closer in sight.

Congtats. on your weight loss. That is so awesome. You will reach that goal just keep doing what you are doing and the  weight will come off..

Hope your ulcers can get attended too and go away soon! But you have done very well for three months!  Your doctor could prescribe you iron if your levels are low - you may need that to be boosted by your doctor in case it gets any lower....

It takes a while to relalise you are not the big person you once were so that will happen a lot - but sometimes you do start to see it - and then you can't walk past a mirror without looking at yourself lol!!  Congrats in getting into the size 12 - that is a heck of an achievement! You must be tickled pink!
