Morning beautiful!!!!  Glad to hear you had such a great weekend!!  Mine was pretty good too.  Friday, hubby & I spent the evening cleaning up for the get together we had on Saturday.  Saturday I was up early, hit the grocery store, did some more cleaning, then took a nap.  Up again and did the finishing touches for our candle party.  Enjoyed an evening of friends & fun.  Sunday we slept in until my mom called, they were having some well problems and needed help.  Once we got back home we just relaxed, did laundry & enjoyed the afternoon/evening together.

Today I am off to work of course, big staff meeting to discuss budget issues so that is where I will be most of the day.  Tonight we have plans to go out to dinner with my mom & stepdad because the are having a fund raiser at Bob Evans for one of the local Independent Living Centers.  Well hope you have a great day!  Love you much!!

Goof Morning sunshine,
Sounds like you had a nice weekend. My Friday was off  to the gym for 2 hours then went to the elementary school for volunteer work., then off to one more store to find something to wear for homecoming in N.C. No luck finding a dress so I went back to Penny's and got a pair of dress pants and sweater. Was in shock to see that I was wearing a size 8. Drove down Saturday morning to N.C. and spent Saturday night talking and enjoying hubby's cousins and family.
Sunday church service was excellent meeting aunts and uncles and down home cooking, which I couldn't eat much do to these folks cook with fat back for collards and bacon or ham in the green beans just to greasy to eat. Tons of fried chicken, barbegue, and so many cakes of course none of them were sugar free, so I just took some yougurt, cheese and some saltines to eat. Then Hubby and I stopped on the way home and got some good food without all that fat. I truly enjoyed the weekend. We want to go to N.C. at least once a month. we love the folks there.

Today Monday is going to the gym this morning, for 2 hours,  go to the grocery store, pick up somethings at Walmart for my g/d  for science project, then back home and laundry to do from the weekend. Have a beautiful day for tomorrow it is going to be cold.
love ya,

Hi Tomygirl,

Glad you enjoyed the weekend and good for you making GOOD food choices in spite of having all that good ole down home Southern cooking surrounding you. I have lots of family in NC! We love it there too. Hugs...

Good Morning All -

Looks like you all had an awesome weekend (except for poor Tammy's legs) - mine was eventful and a little stressful, but still good overall!

My brother, who is bat-**** crazy bipolar (hallucinations, the works) was hospitalized last week for seizures and really bad shakes - it turns out that they believe that the lithium he's been taking for the last 9 or so years has begun to poison his blood.  My brother had severe alcohol and drug issues which make him very resistant to medications, so he's on a extremely high dose of lithium.  The hospital docs took him off the lithium on Friday and refused to give him any more.  Nothing scarier than a super crazy person without their meds.  Hopefully with the advances in bipolar drugs that have been made, they'll be able to find something that will work for him, but it could take several months, and in the meantime, it's going to be a living hell for my sister-in-law and the kids.  They also want to do a bone marrow test (which is truly frightening) but haven't scheduled that yet.  So spent a lot of time this weekend talking to him, and the rest of the family.  Saying a lot of prayers that this whole thing goes as smoothly as possible for them.

Spent time packing this weekend, it's hard to believe that the move is now in less than 2 weeks!  Andy finished up at Target, so I at least have the husband around full-time to be my little slave until we move!

Watched "Strangers" this weekend, a thriller/horror movie about home invasion.  I'm a huge chicken and since we're moving to the country, it probably wasn't the wisest move!  But I enjoyed it and the new house has a security system, so I'll deal -grins-

Things are just moving right along here, and aside from my poor brother, it was a good weekend!  I'm loving the boxing on my wii fit and as soon as we join the YMCA at our new place, I'm going to start taking kickboxing lessons, so I'm excited about that, even though everyone kind of giggles when I tell them.  They'll be laughing when I'm kicking their butts all over the place in about 6 mos!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Hey Rhonda,

Glad things are coming together with moving. Kick boxing I understand is great excercise. I'm sorry that your brother is facing some tough issues. Have a good Monday.

Hi Kit Kat,
What a fun weekend you had with your family. For me the weekend was filled with exercises, reading, going to church and meeting with friends. Also watched the movie Joan of Arc.
Monday has been busy with the home health nurse coming to take the staples out. One more visit with her, and that will be it. Then a friend drove me to the docs to pick up a script for pain meds and to the graocery store to fill the script and pick up some groceries. Physical therapist came by...working on bending which is not going so well.
Tonight will include going to a meeting. Lots of time away from the house has been much needed.
    Peace to you, Cindy
