Happy Half Way Day

Happy half way day!  How was your Veterans Day Tuesday?  What's on the books for your Wednesday?

We had another busy one but thankfully it ended with some relaxing time.  I got in a nice walk in the AM before work.  The dogs and I really enjoyed it.  I worked a good part of the day and worked thru my lunch so I could leave early.  After that it was straight home, threw a load of clothes in the wash, off to Costco to fill up woth gas ($1.74 a gallon!) and then off to Chesterfield to meet a friend.  She gave me a beautiful bedding set for the crib.  It is more decoration to me...but I do love it.  It has a lot of lace and ribbons that scare me to put in a crib.  After that it was home to get dinner completed then we all settled in to have some family time.  We played scrabble and laughed until we had tears coming down our cheeks.  It was well needed!

On the books for today is much of the same.  I am already at work (came in early and will be working thru lunch to leave early again) and am going to pick up some free clothes for a friends daughter after work.  Other than that, yet more laundry and dinner...NO PLANS!  I am praying for a relaxing evening and hopefully some more games.  I LOVE board games!  I did get a walk in this AM as well...just a bit of mist but the temp was perfect!

Have a fabulous day!

Morning Mamma!  Had a good day here yesterday too.  We ran a few errands, picked up the girlies and headed over to meet with a realtor & look at some houses.  We looked at a lot, I think it was 9 houses.  Kind of overwhelming but fun.  Then it was home for a quiet evening & yummy dinner.

Not too much on the plate for today.  Hubby & I are both expecting busy days at work so we will probably have a quiet evening at home tonight.  I didn't get up to go to the gym today so I will try for this evening if my brain can take it.

Have a great one!

Morning beautiful.  So...did you see any houses that you liked???  I am anxious.  I know how much you and hubby want this and especially for the girlies!  I know it can be overwhelming (my mom was a realtor before she retired on disability) but if you relax it can be exciting and fun at the same time.  I am praying for you all!

Not sure how your day willb e going...but I am positive your hubby will have a super busy day.  I know my box is usually overflowing the say after a holiday!  Enjoy that quiet evening and hope you make it to the gym.

Love you!

I had the last 2 days off from work and loved every minute of it! Yesterday I honored my hubby for his 26 years of serving our great nation in the Navy.
Did a little shopping at BJ's and got my nails done.
Today I was up and at em before the birds.(I have to be at work at 6:15 am) later I'm meeting some great friends for lunch, then its back to work @2:15 pm.

Tis a beautiful day. Enjoy it!

So glad to see you posting!  I have missed you!  Yep, I loved every minute of yesterday, too.  I come from a large family of military servers and even now Steve is considering signing up.  We are grateful to all the service our men and women give to us.  Please Thank Leo for us as well.  I remember the days of being at work at or before 6:15.  Part of me misses it (I loved getting out of the office early!) but now that I am more tired a lot...I am grateful for the 8 or 8:30 start time!  yes, it tis a bery beautiful so you enjoy it as well!  Have a great lunch with friends!

Good morning  Yesterday hubby and I went for lunch with some folks from church. It was really nice to get out. Last night I started to get sick again and I told hubby this has to stop. He wanted to call the drs. office who did my surgery but of course I said no. I just pray that this puking stops it is tearing my stomach up. I will call him tomorrow if I continue today to be sick. I am very light headed now so I am watching my sugar to see if it is to low. So say a prayer for me.   It sounds like you are doing good.    I don't know how you ladies on the board can be up so early, I drag myself out at 6:30 and I think that's to early but with the grandkids they have to get ready for school by 7:30.
Went to Bally's for a workout felt so ligh headed at times so I got done doing the exercises  and home again. Just going to be a lazy day today. Church tonight and hopefully early to bed by 8:30. I need to find some more foods to eat that will stay down. I am 9 months out and still can't eat alot of the foods. Only meat I can eat is dark chicken meat, and steak. Only veggies I can eat is green beans, lettuce very little, and tomoto without the skin. I am running out of foods to eat. So it any one has as other good foods to try please email me. I need some snack ideas.
Well enough about that you all have a great day and remember pray for those who are in need, and for our country.
God Bless each of you,
Tomygirl

Glad to see you posting!  I was worried about you and praying you felt better.  You may want to hold off on the gym right now until you are feeling better.  It is not good for your body to feel lightheaded from exercising.  You may also be a bit dehydrated with the vommiting.  I agree with your hubby...go ahead and call the office.  That is what they are there for.  If nothing else they may be able to give you some zofran or phenegran to help with the nausea.  As for being up early...it is in my genes!  My dad has always been an early riser and I am, too.  My brother is as well but not my mom, sisters or my daughter!  They all prefer to stay up all night and sleep all day!  There are tons of foods to try.  Remind me...I will get some recipes together for you.  I have a hard time with a lot of meats, too.  I do steak fine and dark meat chicken at times, pork rarely and seafood when I can.  Of course I can't do it at all right now!  Prayers are definately going up for all those in need!
