my first 8K

I really liked the little kids out there cheer us on.
There were two  little girls running with there dads too. I loved that.  I was able to run with both of them pretty much the whole way till about the 4 mile marker when one of the little girls got sick but I did see her walk  to the finish line.
It was a wonderful time and now my daughter wants me to train her to run with me for the next one.  We are starting tomorrow.  Should be fun.
