Confession...Need a kick in the buttinski!
So, maybe you are dehydrated? Sometimes our hunger is really thirst. Perhaps deciding that you will drink a glass of water when you get up, and not eat, will help. Making it intentional, rather than the nonintentional eating, will help.
Also, you are pretty far out, 400 calories is not that much. Perhaps your body is crying out for food and calories because you are not giving it enough? Can you post a food diary so we can check on ya?

I don't track lately
I know I know...but it makes me crazy when I do...I focus on food all day long when I track...but I do agree...It is time for a change. And Amanda you are brilliant...my friend and counselor says the same thing...that I am not eating enuf calories through my waking hours and when I am asleep my animalistic urges...lol...cave in.
Last night was my worst
Here is what I ate yesterday going from memory:
*A bowl of salad with light italian drsg...no cheese..just veggies approx 100 calories
* Glass of skim milk approx 120 calories for 1.5 cups
* PB2 and slice of bread approx 120 calories
* Loaded burrito....ate half over a few hours: approx 300 calories
Ok...that was it..then I go to sleep:
about 5 times got up and ate a full tablespoon of peanutbutter..the real stuff....approx 500 calories total
Total 1140 calories.....I know not awful..but not good either....not what I usually do....I like to keep calories at 900 or less now..I still have 30 more lbs to kill off.
I think I will start tracking
Today I have had
refried beans 1 serving 100 cal
banquet turkey dinner..just ate the turkey: 100 cal tops
milk same as yesterday approx 120 cal
Salad with italian dressing 100 cals
That will be it until I go to bed again...lord only knows what time that will be tonite...lol
Going to make a protein drink..have it in the frig for my up in the night trip...wish me luck!!
Oh and yes I drink my fluids...I drink crystal light mainly...and I drink a bunch...I go thru a pitcher about every two days...a two quart pitcher...LOL...no wonder I gotta get up and go pee!!

PROTEIN woman! You are really deficient in protein! where is your protein?
Also, you have very little fat in your diet. Fat is good, fat satiates us, makes us less hungry. Add some olive oil to your salad, it also makes it easier to absorb the good stuff from the vegetables.
Your carbs are a little high, but if you start eating more PROTEIN then your carbs will go down
Meat. Meat is good, eat more meat.
(Oh, and im excellent about giving advice, I Suck at taking it myself.

Yes I need more protein....I know...but the thing is....it binds me up...I know ..no excuse.

Ok....they say olive oil is good...I can add a bit of that..we have some here...still working on my salad at the moment. Maybe I should drink the protein drink BEFORE I go to bed? I think I will try it...sure wont hurt anything.

Fat is good, and it will help with the, ahem, binding up 
It also fills you up, and makes you less hungry. Without your peanut butter, (based on yesterdays menu), you had 24 grams of fat, 37 grams of protein, and 89 carbs. (Approximately, your fat may be lower because I used a taco bell burrito as the "burrito"). Shoot for more meat, and more fat, and the carbs will fall, and both of those together will make you less hungry.
Since I still have my gallbladder, I shoot for at least one meal with 15 grams of fat to make the gallbladder contract, which helps prevent gallstones.

Ewwwww......look at those CARBS will ya?? No wonder I am feeling like this...Carbs make me crave MORE CARBS!!
Time to start tracking I am afraid on fit day or the daily plate. I need to lower the carbs. I could next time eat the burrito without the shell..just meat and cheese...that was probably 20 carbs right there in the shell. Not sure that is why I should go back to tracking again for a while...How easily I can forget.
Yep time to up the protein and lower the carbs.

Drinking my protein now...lol...See it is 3:03 in the morning...might get to bed about 5ish.
Hiding the real PB and will have the PB2 out and ready...
I still have my gall bladder too....so the fat won't really hurt me I don't think....It's those dang carbs everytime Ima tellin ya...they will mess you up!!

Thanks Raven....yep the hubby likes to bring home the chocolate...guess last week when I said "buy me one when you buy you one" wasn't such the great idea..lol.
Thanks...I guess I should have "the talk" with him today..lol
At least until I get to goal..then maybe a candy once in a while won't hurt.
