My new tummy doesn't like solids...what the....heck?
Hey Lisa, Let me know if you are cleared for solids and how it is going, your right it is so hard to get the fluid in when you have to stop drinking half hour before you eat and half hour after, then chug, chug...jeez, I find myself just not having time or enough hands to have a water bottle in my hand all the time........oh well I guess it will get easier. When does your school start? We go back the 21st, i worry about drinking then too, kinda hard to teach a class and sip every 3 minutes.......lol good luck with your check up, keep me posted.

Try somthing easier to take in and digest..((Like a very mild White fish..)) I had a similar problem..
Im 8 months out.. and still cant not eat "Red meat Or chicken".. Fish works fine..
Try that and see what happens.. A very small percentage of us sleeved Patients, have a problem Processing certain foods.. I personally Welcome it.. This is why i had the surgery.. I am eating more healthy, than EVER before !
I wish you all the best !

At two months out? I was lucky to get in an ounce of heavy meat at a time. I was eating about 2oz of mushy meat (mmm, meat loaf).
Dont use measureing cups, and dont measure success by the amount of food that you can eat. If you can only eat two bites of chicken? Then thats how much you can eat.
Experiement with different foods. Everyone here says moist meat goes down the best, but my stomach actualyl liked dry steak a lot better than moist beef or chicken.
And, yes, meat and dense proteins sit heavier in your stomach. Thats a good thing
