Robert,  Many DSers actually have just one BM per day ... or even constipation.  I am one of those DSers.

Oh, and no worries ... Us DSers were already ******** BEFORE our surgery.  The DS didn't cure us of that.

PRE OPS ...  Want a surgery that has the least chance of long-term re-gain, is BEST at curing your Diabetes (98%+), removes much of the hunger hormone Ghrelin, NO DUMPING, NO MARGINAL ULCERS and NO STOMA / STRICTURES? CURIOUS WHY I CHOSE THE DS?  VISIT MY PROFILE.

LOL! Obviously.

This flaming thread is a repeat from one a few weeks ago, and another a few weeks before that and so on...they get bored, come here and fire up anyone they can, and then twitter like little crows to each other. Funny lot some of those DSers...staining the reputation of their support forum and surgery... in hopes of winning over undecideds?  Seriously...

Do you wonder how the fire starter posts then the rest know to come here and add fuel?

I already have the ring leader on block. Her nasty attitude lost her any chance of communicating anything useful. Many of her worshippers have been added to that list. I suggest those of you offended or affected follow suit.

This is purely an entertainment for some clucks on another forum. Dont fall for it.  A post not commented on falls quickly into the mist...

Sorry to disappoint you but nope, no diarrhea.  My poop is soft and there's lots of it (because I malabsorb protein and carbs too, and I eat a decent amount of fiber, which is important for everyone), but I go once or twice first thing in the AM, and that's it for the day.

Yeah, you go with that reason for not having a DS-- you obviously don't have the minimal mental capacity required to deal with a DS.  Good luck with your lifelong diet -- or regain.

That's "you're," you illiterate dolt.  Your lame attempts at humor fall flat when you can't spell.

Apparently, that's the best you can do, however.

High fat diet with minimal fat absorbed does NOT equal diarrhea, you tool. It *can* equal loose stools, but that isn't diarrhea.

Happy regain.

Robert, it's not nice to call someone a liar.

I do NOT have diarrhea. I go once in the morning, soft and formed, if you must know. No constipation, which I see from the VSG board, happens to some of you. Maybe an occasional afternoon one, soft and formed. As to smell, well, it IS poop, you know. It ain't supposed to smell like roses. I fart maybe once a day, too.

I invite you into my bathroom, Robert, so you can tell the world the TRUTH about the DS and bowel movements.  Next time you're in Chicago, I have an open-door policy for you into my bathroom. I'd RSVP before you come over, though, just in case my hubby's in there. With his "normal" anatomy, his **** can stink.

Before my DS? I was a farting and pooping machine, with all the hig-fat crap I ate and a shot metabolism.

Nicolle

I had the kick-butt duodenal switch (DS)!

The really unfortunate thing is IF any of the VSG people 'regain' or just decide that they need the DS, how many of us would feel comfortable using the DS board as a resource, after reading these posts?

You say you just want to share information, but it seems that stirring things up is more of a priority.

That's just ridiculous -- except of course for those of you who have been ******** on threads like this.
