Did y'all find any (preferably unflavored) whey protein that tasted decent when blended with soups, broths, etc.?  I just have a hard time choking down the stuff by itself.

Thx

Unjury makes an unflavored protein.  I haven't tried it - I can't do anything with whey (whether the concentrate or the isolate).  Best wishes!!

There is an unflavored protein mix made by Nestles.  It's called Beneprotein.  Last week I too my EAS Vanilla protein drink which has 17g of protein, put that in the blender along with a banana, S/F F/F 1 tbsp of banana cream pudding and a packet of Beneprotein.  Total 25 g of protein and it was yummy!

How much protein should I look for in a drink mix? Should I buy something like what's in the link below?

http://www.amazon.com/Dymatize-Nutrition-Protein-Isolate-5-Pound/dp/B000GOW53U

It's a tub of powder and it says each scoop/glass has 22g protein. Just wanna be sure before I buy anything.

Here is a good site for info and different kinds of protein,

I found that Syntrax Matrix Vanilla was the best for me, I buy only the vanilla, one can get many sugar free flavored suryps to have a variety, to me the Matrix tastes like a vanilla milkshake, especially if I throw a few ice cubes in to make it really cold.  I get the matrix in 5 pounds here:

The Unjury unflavored is something I use every day.  I mix it with my Carb Master yogurt.  Just stir it up really good, and you shouldn't even taste it.

You can order it from their website, www.unjury.com.  I couldn't find it anywhere else in my area, which is Nashville, Tn.  Good luck!

I vote for Unjury, too.

However, you just need to be REALLY careful that you aren't mixing it in to too hot of soup - it will clump and turn super gross.  I would invest in the thermometer that they sell.  The unflavored is the worst for clumping, in my experience.

You can get around that by mixing it with room temperature water first and then adding it to the hot mixture. (I do that with my protein hot chocolate if I want to add extra protein to it.)

I like a protein drink with around 30 - 40 g of protein. I use Chike right now and it has 27 g per serving so I make it with 3 scoops instead of 2 to get it up around 40 g. That gives me a good start to the day and puts me up on my protein requirements. Plus on days I know I'm going to eat more later, I can go back to 2 scoops.

I've used the JROBB, but they all seem to taste abit like NF Dry Milk which I was forced to drink as a kid and HATE now!!.  I can do the flavored protein powders,  I really like the Goumet Whey and Nectar.  I got mine at Bariatric Eating and have also bought them at other netsites..  Be sure in addition to the protein being 22-30 grams, that the carbs low, 4 or less.   I found some really yummy protein powders, but they all had carb counts over 30!!  I beleive some of the companies will send samples.

I do best adding some of the SF davinci or other syrups (You can also add some SF Pudding mix for flavor too.

GOod Luck findind one you like.

Oh,  Drink out of a sport bottle so that you don't have to smell it when you were sipping.
