OT: would you date a man who's 40 lbs overweight?
Now that we're all so svelt and full of ourselves, would you date a man who was 40 lbs or so overweight. Well I am, and I'm not so sure about the belly thing. He is 6 foot tall, handsome, smart, whitty, has a good job, owns home, rv, atv's, kayak, single dad and I guess most importantly he likes me, lots.
It's just that when I see him in all his glory I kind of get slightly turned off just a little (don't hate me I'm just being honest) also has a bit of a double chin. I'm just asking your opinion because he's starting to get serious with me and wanting to meet my children and such.....
What do you guys think.....be brutal, I can take it.

You're pretty funny down there in Oregon. I know, I sound shallow but I'm telling you now that we have put so much effort on ourselves with surgeries and money spent....I'm just saying. OK, ok he also has this kind of cro magnum forehead thing going on.....
kind of like Sir Anthony Hopkins but more exaggerated.
I think about these superficial looks things once and a while but then when I see him I'm not disgusted or anything and I find myself still smiling goofy like at him but it's just not like the hunka hunka burning kind of feeling.
Anyways, I thought they grew them tall, muscular, hard working and handsome as all heck in Oregon. You know the Paul Bunyon type, hanging out in the woods and eating mushrooms. This guy is getting real serious about me and I don't want to ever wonder what else is out there? Just being honest and asking for a girl's opinion.

I'm guessing he's not the right guy.
You aren't required to date someone just because they have some objectively good things about them and they like you. Love is subjective - sure, give him a chance because he's a nice guy, but if that gut feeling doesn't develop, move on.
