Okay, since I am very close to goal, can someone who is at goal or beyond give me some idea of a meal plan that you use to maintain your weight but not gain? thanks!!

I don't really have a meal plan- I basically eat whatever I want still using the protein first
and then I weight myself every morning and either add calories or take away depending on the scale I allow a 3 lb leeway . Congrads on your succes it seems like yesterday you were just getting sleeved.

Best Wishes to you

I pretty much eat like I did while I was losing: protein first, then veggies. I do eat more candy treats--I have a sweet tooth, but I only keep things around the house that I won't eat too much of--like I still can't have ice cream around. I still don't eat much pasta, bread, potatoes, crackers, chips, cookies etc. I weigh every day to make sure I'm not gaining...

Congrats!!

I am trying to maintain my weight, and I have been aiming for 1400-1500 calories a day.  That seems to be working.  I am floating between 129-130ish.

But I find it hard to get in enough food to get my calories that high, so I have an ensure plus in my coffee, and I eat things I NEVER would have eaten before, like bacon.

But for me, it's a balancing act.  I eat as much as I can, but I am totally afraid of seeing the scale go higher than 130.  If I see it creep up, I eat less the next day.  It seems to be working - Ive been maintaining here for the last three months now - fingers crossed!!!

Hey Char, I know it seems confusing....I have been maintaining for about 4-5 months now...and I am not doing anything special...I continue to eat what I want, and just try to keep the non nutritious foods in moderation...  I think for people who tracked everything before, they should continue to do so and just add in calories until they see the scale stop moving...I have done it more intuitively, and actually had to add a few snacks to each day to get the scale to stop moving...I do weigh myself every morning though to keep myself accountable...I also give myself a 3 pound leeway...

Eh...I guess none of this is helpful, lol...sorry!

Hey fawn! How are you?? I am eating all I can now, that's where my dilemma comes in...so I guess what I need to do is just add some higher calorie foods once I get to goal...who would have thought we would have to worry about eating enough??? LOL

thanks dear!

I tried all different things, but ended up back with what had me losing the weight. It's a good way to eat and I just added more calories, but kept the basic plan. Well, I do eat a few more carbs.

I had this idea that I had to eat differently once I was at goal, but I found that wasn't true.
