Anyone in Dallas area?

I'm wondering if anyone in the dallas area is going to go to any of the support groups at Baylor in Carrollton in January. If so I'd like to meet you! 

Howdy!  I'm actually justa  few days before you, but I had surgery with Dr. Nicholson at Baylor Plano.  I've attended the Plano support group meeting, and it was great!  But, I live way south, so I'm totally game on meeting up at the Carrollton location in January.  When is the meeting?  Where?

Hi! The next support group for newbies at baylor in carrollton  is January 5th 6:30 -8:30pm in Conference room 1.

It says "You may register by calling 1-800-4Baylor"

They also have a separate nutrition class on January 19 from 4:30 - 6:30 in conference room 1 a/b.

I'm definitely going to the one on the 5th, not sure about the nutrition one yet because I may have a job that conflicts by then.

Outstanding!  I will call to register.  It will be closer for me, and it will be great to meet up with someone going through the same thing at the same time!

I go to the ones in Plano and Frisco. I am not a newbie anymore so I don't know about going to that one in Carrollton. The nutrition one sounds interesting.

are you planning on attending any of the Plano support groups? They are the first and third Thursday. I go to most of them. I would love to meet you!

 I just had info on the Carrollton one because that's where I had my surgery, and the hospital is like 8 mins from my apartment. I could probably go to more than one though or hop around. Yeah the carrollton one has one for newbies and one for people that are 1 year out. I'm sure they wouldn't turn anyone away though...at least I would hope!

The one in Plano is at Presbyterian Hospital on Parker and Midway. The meetings are at 6:00 in the Magnolia room in Tower C.

  My husband at first didn't think he wanted to attend a support meeting but the other day he said he might be interested in it.  Is it for all types of bariatric surgery patients or just VSG's?  Thanks for the info.
