Sketcher shape up shoes

I wanted to give a shout out for these, cuz I got these and while I dont feel the "exercise" soreness, benefit from them - I WILL buy more because after a long day of grocery shopping, my back and feet are usually sore, but not when I zoom around in my sketchers!   Even after doing my dreadmill fun in my super zillion dollar non-sketcher sneakers, my heels are sore, and so are my feet, but not so with my Sketchers!

So, if you have foot issues, like plantar fasciitis, or even bone spurs - I would DEFINITELY reccommend them!!

I got the cute little mary jane-ish ones -



And will be asking for these for a birthday prize, for hiking in the woods, up and down the street and more summary casual wear than the MJs will afford me.



I was also wary of the steep price, but I have to tell you, one pair of expensive shoes that actually helps your foot not hurt, is woth 20 pairs of 20 dollar shoes that kill!  (This isnt me talking trash about any of the other shoes like this, cuz I dont know about them - but just making a comparison - cuz its easier for my brain to justify the 20 dollar killer shoes)

Anyway, I just wanted to give a shout out!

my sister bought the sneaker ones and she loves them.  my mom wasn't sure if she would be able to wear them b/c of her back, so she got a knock-off pair at walmart for $25, and she LOVES them.  she said that her back feels sooo much better since wearing them, and she said she can feel that her thighs have tightened up a bit.

Well, I work out pretty hard - so I am not sure if *that* is why I do not feel the exercisey benefit of them, but hey - I agree - my back feels so much better after a day of heavy duty standing, walking, and that my feet do not hurt - I am sold and am going to share the news! 

And honestly, I used to NEVER wear shoes in the house, and was always barefoot if I could be, but my feet feel SO much better in these shoes.  Its changed my barefootin ways!

I even already got a pair of summery bling fitflops, since they are supposed to be similar - and some summery outfits need sparkley sandals, not maryjanes, sneaks or teva knock offs!   Its a little too chilly here in the ATL to be wearing them around though.

Where do you get them? I think these will really help me! I'm constantly in flip flops (living in AZ makes it easy to wear flip flops in the winter). Do you have to order them online or can you find them in stores??

I cannot find them locally, I ordered them from Amazon!

i second the notion that 1 good pair of shoes are worth 10 cheap ones -- i've been wearing MBT's for several years now - they have the same style of "rocker" sole as the sketchers, and have been a blessing for my plantar fasciitis... but they are more than twice the price of the sketchers, so i may be looking into those later on...

When my PF was acting up, if I had only KNOWN about those!   Wow - what a difference it would have made!

I am NOTORIOUS for finding a pair of shoes and wearing them slap out - so yea, I might have to buy a couple of pair to store in the closet, but honestly, with these soles?  Its going to take a lot of time for me to wear a hole through them :} 

I have heard good things about the MBTs - but I was skeert of the price.  I figured - I could swing a hunnerdolla and send them back to amazon if they were too weird, but I LOVE THEM!

I love, love, LOVE mine!  They didn't have the Mary Janes at the store I got mine or I would have gotten them, those are SO cute!  Mine are the regular tennis shoe type. After trying on ONE shoe and walking down the aisle, I knew I had to have them.

I felt the soreness alot at first after our walks.  Mainly at the top of my thigh/bottom of my butt.  Now, I don't notice it so much.  I wear them constantly when I'm not working.

Gonna have to have those flip flops now too!  Thanks alot!  LOL

My local places only had the Sketcher tennies too - I got the MJs and will get the Teva's (and got the fitflops) from Amazon - because I appreciate their return policy (I figured if I walked around in them in the house and they hurt my knees or my ankle that I shattered many years, ago, they would not get worndown like walking outside and I could send them back) but I did not need no stinkin return policy! 

Yaay! 

If you look on Amazon, (or even the Sketcher's website) they have some cute shoes, some just scream orthopedic shoe, but I like the cute ones!  Cute and comfortable?  Sign me up!
