Thank you! Once upon a time a few years ago my (then 5yo) daughter tearfully admitted that she didn't want me to come to her kindergarten picnic because the other kids made fun of her fat mom....it totally broke my heart, and I get so much joy that they can be proud to play with me now....

Hi Fawn,

Thanks for posting. I was beginning to think I was weird. I haven't really changed all that much as far as my eating habits go, I just don't eat as much of it. I never really ate "terrible" before, I just ate a lot. Anyway I have been steadily losing (50lbs so far in 4 months) and keep waiting to hit a wall but I haven't and I feel so normal. I have yet to eat anything my sleeve didn't agree with. I feel so blessed that this journey has been smooth sailing for me. But, I realize everyones journey is different, although my Mom has pretty much been the same as me, but just losing slower (hell she has 35 years on me). So I think she is doing great. And my Aunt (also 30 years my senior) has had no problems and lost 100 lbs. Anyway glad to know I am not alone:)

Thank you! It is funny how different I do eat...it made me realize how ABnormal I was eating preop. Now I won't blink an eye at steak without a potato- it better be a great cut of meat though, lmao...or having soup or salad as a meal. I used to want to eat everything, and now I am simply more choosy...I don't deny myself, I just don't eat "filler" yanno?
