20 pounds in less than a month sounds pretty good to me!  I'll be at 3 months in a week and I've lost 45 lbs and I'm very happy with my loss.  As far as your week long stall, for some reason my body stalls for a week and then loses for a week, stalls for a week and then loses very well for a week, etc.  I guess my body just needs time to adjust.  Anyway, you're doing great and you'll get there before you know it!

Hi Nancy,

Enjoy the weight loss.  Many lose slower than you.  Like ME!  My surgery was February 17th and I'm down 24 pounds.  Month two I only shed 3 pounds.  I think there's lots of factors like age, exercise, fluids, protein and attitude.  I'm sure I'm going to make it to goal and I bet you will too!

I wish I could have your positive attitude
keep it up,   I think I'm turning out to be a slow loser, but I'm working so hard, just get a little frustrated :>

Good Luck with your WL

Reality check. I had my surgery March 16th and have only lost 17 pounds, almost the 20 I gained back after my band. I know it will come off sooner or later, it has to. 20 pounds in a month is a lot. McDonalds will kill you and your kids, start eating healthy!

I'm sorry, but I always giggle when I read posts saying things like "I'm not yet 4 weeks out and I've ONLY lost 20 pounds!"  My surgery was March 17 and I've lost not quite 15 pounds, and although it's been frustrating being stuck for the past week or so, I couldn't be happier.  Before my sleeve, it would have taken me at least three months to lose 15 pounds!  Good grief!  This is awesome!  I'm doing great and so are you!!!

Just keep on keeping on, and before you know it the weight will be off!
