Thank you!  And I'm confident you will!  Being on this site is so important during the first few months.  The support and encouragement is invaluable.  Just your participation here puts you light years ahead of other patients in terms of success.  This week will fly by and we'll have to scoot over to make room for you on the loser's bench!

I started at 324lbs and a size 26.  After losing 100 lbs, I became pregnant with my first daughter, who was born in March 2011.  My second daughter was born in September 2013.  I have maintained a healthy lifestyle and now hover around 160lbs.  I would like to get back to the 140lbs before I became pregnant with my second daughter.  The sleeve literally gave me LIFE - two beautiful, healthy little girls.  My husband had his VSG with Dr. Marema on 10/1/2012 and is on his weight loss journey, currently down 90lbs.

JenCat - you look fabulous!!  You are soooo much smaller!  I am so jealous of your incredible weight loss.  I'm struggling now and have been for about 4 weeks.  The scales just will not move for me and when they do, it's in the wrong direction.  But your success is such an inspiration.  I hope you and your hubby the best of luck with babymaking.  My husband and I struggled with that as well 4 years ago.  We were given a 5% conception percentage and were not ready for the IVF road, so we stopped trying.  3 months later I was pregnant with twins!  God is so good...just trust Him to know the best for you.  You look amazing!

Jen, congratulations. We're twins (had our surgeries the same day). Of course, you're a generation younger. I've lost 78.5 since I first saw the surgeon, plus 15# on my own prior to that. Isn't it amazing to continue to get smaller and feel better? Thank heavens for supportive husbands!

Best wishes for continued losing.
